Why have we not injected pace and power into the game. We will not wear Luton out if we pass it about among our back four 60 yards from their goal which just allows them to drop back into their half. Our midfield is dreadful. Fox is treating it like a training match. Dare yourself to get forward mate instead of looking for the easy option 50 yards from goal. In fact the whole team have to show some bottle.
I think this game is crying out for Hoolahan. I'd take Surman off because whilst he's been better this half, he's still not been great.
The ground is like a morgue by the sound of it. As poor as we are playing, if you are there, you have to be giving them some vocal backing.
Pilks and Wessi on, E Benno and Surman off. Howson to play a deeper role I guess then, not that he really needs to.
If Howson and Fox were any deeper they would have underground stations named after them. We have to have confidence in our own ability. Lets see players going past the opposition for a change, We can't seem to pass our way through.
