nottm forest v watford After heavy snowfall across the East Midlands overnight, it came as a relief to receive the message that the game would be kicking off at 3.00pm BST as planned. Forest have completed the signing of ex-Watford player Darius Henderson in time for him to play against his old team if selected. Despite plenty of rumours, none of the players that Watford have on loan have yet signed a permanent deal this week, but they have been in Spain, a country that has run out of ink. Injuries: Nottingham Forest midfielder Chris Cohen could return after a back injury, but winger Andy Reid and on-loan defender Daniel Ayala are both doubtful with hamstring problems. Watford defender Fitz Hall and midfielder Jonathan Hogg could return after hamstring injuries, and defender Tommy Hoban is doubtful (Achilles). Current Form: ⢠Nottingham Forest have managed one win in the five league and cup games under Alex McLeish, and lie five points below the play-offs. ⢠The Hornets are unbeaten in six away league games (W4, D2).
As before a quick cut and paste job to make comments on as the afternoon rolls along. Hoping for a good result for Watford which could see them leap another couple of steps up the table.
Now that is out of my system have to say this is a big test for watford today, plus we have to get over the 'cant win 3 games on the bounce' situation we have at the moment
Hopefully, fingers crossed 6 points in the next 2 games will see us push on up the table and cement our place in the automatic / play-off places When was the last time we were thinking about that It is not going to be easy but we are playing attractive, attacking football, can anyone live with us U'Orns........
Just seen a comment from a Forest fan hoping that their pitch is a mess to help them stop our passing game. They seem a bit worried, so let's hope that the days in Spain don't seem too different to a cold afternoon in the Midlands.
The Championship... no easy games yadda yadda... what will be the Forest tactics today? Kick us off the park as they tried at The Vic, or play football and leave themselves open to our masterful counter-attacking game? So long as our boys remain focussed and do not get complacent then I see Watford heading back down the M1 with 3pts and a significantly healthier goal difference. But it's The Championship... so who knows???
Well it's quite mild over here in Gloucester but the ground is saturated hopefully their underground heating has helped dry it out a fair bit to allow us to pass the ball fairly quickly
