What price? Horse of a lifetime apparently.

Get on at 8s for the Bumper while you can, 9/2 fav on the day.

Empiracle looks a bit special, should make a good chaser, bumper could be a right good race this year if these two turn up.

Interesting to hear that Barry Connell is coming out of retirement to ride him at the Festival. He must really rate his chances!

Few people talking about Faugheen, point winner with Mullins, hasnt ran in a bumper yet tho, 25s just now.

Moyle Park 25/1 could be a decent e/w, think the bumper he won at Leopardstown was quite strong and would be alot shorter if with a bigger name.

There is another forum I post on where someone apparently knows someone from the Mullins yard and they said back in September that Faugheen was their best chance Bumper prospect (at the time). Someone else said he won in a schooling bumper by a street recently as well. I'm personally not looking into that a great deal but he's a horse who I will be lumping on at 25s with Betvictor before his rules debut with the view of backing to lay as he'll surely half in price if he is successful (which I am sure he will be). If not, clearly he isn't up to running at Cheltenham and my stake will be returned as a free bet.

Moyle Park is a horse who I tipped up on debut and he looks a serious, serious horse. He's a massive price on the exchange (took 85s yesterday myself) and that is purely because there is no way to know if he is going there until Saturday as he is declared for the Breeze Up sales where surely he'll go for about £250k+. Can't see why whoever buys him won't want him to go for the Bumper and he'll surely shorten in price once his destination is confirmed.

With regards Golantilla, I was lucky enough to take 20s with Bet365 on the night where he won his bumper and he does look a serious horse. We can't really know how good he is in comparison until the day but I certainly think he'll run a big race.

I don't know where you lot find these other forums that are worth posting on. All I've seen are woeful. Gg.com is embarrassingly poor with everyone pretending to be in the know but almost never having any winners.

Wouldnt mind sitting with 20s about Golantilla! I missed the boat with that one, only came to my attention after Nouveau Moulin romped in at Limerick the other day, beating what I think are couple of promising mares in Young Ambition and Shuilamach, and then seen she was beaten 13 lengths by Golantilla.

Golden Rascal could be worth keeping an eye on from that race, made up a fair amount of ground from the back and wasnt given a hard time.

Thats a huge price you have about Moyle Park aswell, though I would want to be on e/w, you would expect him to improve for his first run and apparently the 2nd and 3rd in that race, Blackmail and Old Kilcash are quite highly thought of, the 4rth Saffron Wells had ran 2nd to Outlander in what looked a strong race with Eight Chimes, Indian File and Talbot Road in behind, so the form looks rock solid.

I wouldnt be too worried about better ground either for Moyle Park or Golantilla, but if it came up soft, they would surely have the advantage over Empiracle.

80s still available about Moyle Park on Betfair for a couple of quid but I'm sure you'll get a few more quid matched if you asked. I've also heard subsequently that the Martin's felt Blackmail was a beast and I think given he had experience and Moyle Park didn't screams a seriously talented horse. The trainer also said after the race that they thought he would do that and it was only his 2nd time on grass. I'd be very, very surprised if he didn't have an awful lot of improvement left in him.

Interesting thing posted on another forum with regards Golantilla. Could be total ****e but it doesn't really seem like the sort of story that you'd make up.

" i was at a function with willie over the weekend and i asked him about the bumper. union dues he said was his fastest bumper horse, he feels there is a doubt about him being suited to a big field at cheltenham. clondaw court is a relentless galloper and he says he would need very soft ground to be in with a shout. they were the two i asked about, he did not mention anything else in glowing terms. he did say that he was at mallow when golantilla won and he loved the horse and he bid 300,000 an hour after the race, the following morning he was told he needed to pay 400,000 to get him, at that price he dropped interest. i had an idea from his reaction that he would have fancied training golantilla. he also added that he fckked up at the cheltenham sale he was at home and jackie, the wife and harold kirk who were repping him lost interest because golantilla did not present in good condition at the sale, if he had been there he would have purchased. one that got away was willies closing words on the subject."

Moyle Park just sold for 250k. I think that is a bit of a bargain myself! Think he went to Harold Kirk (could easily be wrong though as voice was muffled). Kirk represents has represented Graham Wylie before and think he's tied to the Willie Mullins yard. If he goes to Mullins then what does that tell you about Mullins current bumper crop!

Blackmail runs tomorrow ROTO, will be my bet of the day I think and I expect him to frank the form, hopefully get a decent price as alot off odds on shots tomorrow, Mullins has one in it for the Potts and Meade has one first time out aswell so good chance he will be a reasonable price.

I did notice that myself. Oh how connections would have loved if that race was on today. If Blackmail wins it could have easily added 50k+ to Moyle Park's price. Unless Sizing Chile is quite a bit above average (which he could well be) I think Blackmail should win easily enough.

Thats going to continue to fall. Kirk said he'd have only one more run this season so he'll be making his debut for Mullins in the Champion Bumper according to that report (if he goes there and not Punchestown). He's starting to get quite hyped up now after today and that price will keep shortening.
