....is about 17 degrees. City are off there after tomorrow's game for some 'warm weather training' . Mild weather forecast for here next week up to 10 or 11 degrees. Will that 6 degrees make a difference?
you haven't really gone out of your way to look at the difference in weather have you? Thats crazy to look into things in that detail, might as well check which way the wind blows in case Steve Bruce farts..!!
Here's three degrees and a message...
Yes I spent hours on it, went down the library, emailed climate experts, wrote to the Portuguese Consulate etc Thanks for noticing it.
How long before some jockey starts moaning that we're not signing anyone and Bruce is in Portugal swanning about?
I wonder who decides where the players go for wwt, because they've going there every year for maybe the last six trips. This is regardless of who the manager or even the owners are.
It's quite the trend these days isn't it for clubs to go for a mid-season warm weather jolly, in addition to a pre-season one? Think it's pretty commonplace now, though whether it has any benefits I really don't know.
Brucey has a house at Val do Lobo, or Val do Hullo as it's affectionally known, as the great and the good of Hull all have holiday homes there. Not just the great and good of Hull though, Shearer has a house there and Jimmy was planning on building a flash place until he was sacked. Portugal is warm, Hull is cold, 17 degrees is like the summer here and on a night in Portugal it won't drop to -5, that's why they call it 'warm weather' training.
It is about 17 here today. I wore a jacket and a wool hat when I went on my hike today. It is strange how fast you can get used to weather. I never even owned a jacket tell I moved here, I used to go to work in the snow wearing a long sleeve shirt.
Lol, as we speak it is snowing here in Hull. BBC weather tells us it's -1. Sunday we will get to 7 degrees...therefore the snow melts and for the first time in a month I can go running.
We were forecast another 10 inches of snow but it's warmed up considerably this evening and it's now raining instead. Snow should have gone tomorrow anyway, temperature forecast to be around 6 degrees last time I checked.
It snowed once where I am this year but it melted as soon as the sun came up. They are saying we might get a snow shower on Sunday. I dont think it has been bellow freezing where I am for more than an hour or so this year. I am at about 2,700 feet in elevation. The mountains around me rise up to about 10,000 feet and some of them had snow in June when I got here. The mountains around me have probably gotten 40 feet of snow all told. They had 9 feet in one snow storm a few weeks back.
It's not that bad here, it's -1 now, but it's expected to stay between 1-6 tomorrow and it's not snowing much, the game will definitely be on.
