Really hope we can still rest a few players (or have them on the bench) and still get the job done. Would love to see us hammer MK Dons 6-0. However, I note Mark Lawrenson predicts a "shock" upset and we lose 1-2 while Kelly Smith has us down for a 2-0 win. I'm in her camp. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/21169367
Well having watched the Pressie i got that thinking wrong: After some thought I think Harold is right we should be able to beat them but I am pissed off that we may play a weakened team but then of course there will only be 48 hours recovery time before City and we have to go in strong to that game to stand any chance of getting a positive result
---------------------Green---------------------------- Onouha----------Ben--------------Les-----------Traore -----------------Faurlin----------Granero--------------- Mackie---------------------------------------------SWP ------------------------Betty----DJ-------------------- Ferdinand and Ben starting without a doubt. Hill cant play every game same goes for Derry and Nelson's got to be replaced. First ever team that I have selected SWP in. But it's a league one team and Toilets and Park are injured Adel and Remy ready come on should they be needed
That midfield will lose us the game!......and Park must play to get any sort of match fitness up I am beginning to worry
Not sure how you come to that conclusion. The best football I have EVER seen us play was when I was at Spurs away this season for the first 60 mins and just a 2 minute hit and run cost us. Faurlin and Granero showed their class and ability to keep the ball and pick out probing passes. Faurlin has the bite... actually not even sure why i'm trying to justify it. If Mckie cant handle Dean Lewington then we might as well give up now
Green Onuoha, Ferdinand, Hill, Ben Haim Mackie, Faurlin, Park, Granero, Traore Bothroyd Subs: Murphy, Young, MBia, Derry, SWP, Taarabt, Campbell
MK Dons v QPR - TEAM NEWS QPR striker Loic Remy is doubtful with a tight hamstring, but midfielder Esteban Granero and full-back Armand Traore return from similar injuries. Full-back Jose Bosingwa is sidelined with a back injury. Doing what exactly this past month or so - is 'Arry being polite here? MK Dons have problems with striker Izale McLeod cup-tied and midfielders Stephen Gleeson (broken foot) and Luke Chadwick (knee) unavailable.
I am expecting Bothroyd to start as the main striker as most have suggested Be really interested in his attitude to see if he is up for it Playing for Cardiff he would of caused a team like MK endless problems
Bit pissed off Remy is injured (already!!) as I was hoping to see him tomorrow.....needs games apparently. So with that in mind, plus the fact that Hoilett is injured, I would go with this: ---------------------Green-------------------- Onuoha--------Ferdy----Ben Haim-------Traore --------------------Faurlin-------------------- Park-------------Granero-----------------SWP ---------------Betty-------DJ----------------
No we bloody didn't lose to these toss pots ... they are not even a club in my book that was the old Wimbledon
Good opportunity for Granero to influence the game and exert his midfield authority against lesser opposition.
I cant see us winning by more than one goal tomorrow, if at all. I reckon MK Dons will be well up for it, be well organised and unless we are 100 per cent up for it ourselves we could get beaten or even a replay. Id like to think we will bring some momentum into the game by previous good results and hope our expensively assembled squad are good and professional enough to get the job done. But then this is QPR
Will a hard game but as my lady has to do her tax return it has to be a better view so I am trotting along to watch and its looks like pretty much a sell out now
