I see Wenger is moaning about how many players Newcastle are signing in the transfer window and how unfair it is to other teams. What has it got to do with him?
Personally, I think it's jealousy 'cause his board gives him nothing to spend.

Spiteful, sulky, jealous, sour, stinking attitude. I don't know what his problem is, other than looking like a elderly man's viagra induced erection.

Let's go back and see which team had a nice little winter break before playing a team who had only just had a game two days before...

I suppose he's just so desperate he'll use and be pro any old excuse to keep Arsenal's position secure, because at the moment 4th might be difficult for them, and in the future too. Shame he's picking on a club that's not even challenging him. What.an.arse.

I read this and just burst out laughing.

Does he no longer think that his team is good enough to beat us? If so then brilliant, I'll take those 3 points.

Does Arsenal not have £15m to sign 3 French Internationals? Maybe he spent it all on Walcott's new contract...

""It is unfair some teams have played, for example, Newcastle already and then some still have to face a side with six or eight new players"

I see his point, I hate the Jan window it should perhaps be restricted, like Wenger suggested. Clubs should only be allowed to add a maximum of 2 players.

My personal opinion would be to abolish it altogether and open the window when the final whistle goes on the 38th game of the season and close it as soon as the 3pm whistle blows on day 1 of the new season.

It wasn't 'unfair' when they were getting players in and we got nobody

was it not unfair when they didn't play on Boxing Day when everyone else did

If we get rid of it then teams with squads that get decimated by injuries would most likely to be bound to relegation. Signing 2 players might not cut it.

There's nothing wrong with it at all. You're in your right to sign players yourself, and if you don't it's your own fault if other teams overtake you.

There should be a winter break like in Germany, and that should be when transfers are made, and Wenger moans about out, if you go to the emirates and attack or if you put 10 men behind the and get a draw he still moans.

Completely laughable given he's been the pioneer for French imports for over a decade....

Plus... rather oddly he seems to have a rubber face.

If Wenger has nothing to moan about he'll stop breathing.

If he didn't sign donkey after donkey and blame everyone else for Arsenal's trophy drought then he might have more time to get on with doing a good job and challenging for honours.

The guy can't do his jacket up for **** sake, do you even take him seriously?

Wenger thinks he has the rights to French imports. But as said up top. Very "sulky" race.

Exactly, why should rich teams who are hit with injuries be allowed to buy their way out of trouble or to victory.

In a modern game where we are driving for FFP, we still give the rich clubs second bites at the cherry. Summer should be only transfer window and you go with what you've got. If you're wrong you pay and if you're right you reap the rewards.

If there's only one period of time for transfers, between the last and first game of the season, inflation on player prices will go through the roof and surely be the opposite of FFP..?

Also, players are on holiday as soon as the season ends, what use will the three/four weeks after a season be to anyone?

Basically, there isn't a redeeming feature to that plan in my opinion.

Best thing I've read on the internet today. Bravo Sir!

On topic... I don't understand why he's moaning, I'm fairly certain he like all other 18 managers in the league also have the ability to buy any player during this window. Smacks of jealousy at the fact that these decent players have slipped through the net. Add to that the fact that they are French. Mind you had we have got to February without signing a single person, I'd probably have the same notion as him (until the summer at least) but I'm a fickle bastard!

Compared to the lack of signing since fat mike took over it would be about 2 signings per window if that
    On average
Anyway he has made arsenal a laughing stock they use to be superb but are average at best
They were lucky they played against our shocking line up we had that day
