    Dunno if this point has already been raised, so sorry if so...

    But, anyone else reckon that in all seriousness it might be wise move to get a Frenchman in on our coaching staff, in some capacity?

    An ex-player would be great and someone these new and current players know and respect – say, David Ginola or the like.

    It would have to be a guy Pardew trusts and wants to work with, with him still very much the manager and boss. Kind of a French John Carver basically.
    Could help with translation of tactics but also instill the spirit and culture of NUFC Or English football in general if he's been there and done it.

    Obviously I realise you'd have to VERY careful not to split the dressing room or spark a mutiny but it could help rather than hinder.

    Anyone agree or reckon its a dumb idea?
