He's put his twopennorth in about Nigel's sacking: http://www.thisiscroydontoday.co.uk/story-17951318-detail/story.html The irony is he's complaining because our new manager doesn't speak English!
Why oh why do we give this man the time of day.......He is a first class pratt second to none. How the hell he keeps a football managers job is to me a mystery...........
Holloway can mind his own ****ing business. My opinion of him was very low before this statement. Now it's so low that I really don't care about him whatsoever. He just can't help opening his trap on matters that don't concern him. **** off Holloway.
Have to say that I have on occasions found Holloway to be really funny , he's just as misguided as the rest about MP's inability to speak english though !
I haven't massively liked holloway ever since he slated our fans, but I don't disagree with him here. Sacking Adkins and putting an unknown quantity in charge is madness, and a big gamble. I'm not saying that it is the wrong decision, and I still hope it turns out well. But his opinion is pretty justified from my point of view.
but you have to look at the world famous rag that the report is in, This Is Croydon Today. must have a publication run of about 1000 copies, I`m sure there is an advert underneath of some chav trying to sell his Escort mkII with spoilers and go faster stripes
I'm perfectly sure MP speaks enough English to tell Holloway to sod off next time we have to play one of his awful teams.
"Premier League, we're having a laugh, Premier League, we're having a laugh" "We are Southampton, We're Premier League" Where are you now Mr Holloway?
Well i dont think that i am going to get too excited by a few lines written by some obscure chap in the Croydon Advertiser !
All managers get asked about things in the news...Holloway's views don't differ too much from anyone else's. As long as they don't wish harm on us (a la Merson) I'm not bothered.
You should have seen it. It was awesome. 16" rims and purple neon ground effect lighting. Subwoofers in the trunk. I dislike Holloway, but I enjoy disliking Holloway enough that ultimately I suppose I like Holloway if that makes sense. He reminds me of the drunk dude you meet at a bar who makes an impassioned argument on some totally random point or other that somehow encapsulates "what's wrong with people today." Taken in isolation, the argument makes sense or even if it doesn't the fact that the person believes so strongly in it based on good values resonates. Taken in isolation, every five minutes worth of drunken diatribe works on some level. Of course if you listen to their ramblings for half an hour you realize they've contradicted themselves like five times and it all falls apart. But you still walk away amused by the conversation even if you also think the guy is full of it. Would not want Holloway managing Saints and think he's kind of an idiot, but I like him around for the entertainment value. I always enjoy a good rant, and Holloway's got them in spades.
