Must have missed it, from http://www.premierleague.com/en-gb/news/news/international-acon-review-210113.html "West Ham's Samba Diakite makes cameo appearance as Mali snatch late win over Niger"
"Queens Park Rangers midfielder Samba Diakite helped influence the outcome after coming on for the last 11 minutes of the match"
The longest he has played without a yellow card for club or country. Seriously I like this lad, hope we keep him and spend some effort on him. Potentially top class.
Not that he is going anywhere, but I would definitely miss his enthusiasm and of course those shorts. Seems like he made the difference for Mali in this game too. please log in to view this image Interesting shot from that same game where we beat Spurs 1-0 and Adel was sent off for two yellows. Clueless cannot crack a smile, always with that same constipated look on his face. please log in to view this image
Totally agree. He looks so comfortable in the ball. He has a real ability pushing forward and seems able to ghost round players. Needs to work on making the most of his runs and some of his timing!!
I agree with all these comments. However, his head is clearly not right this season and I don't see him featuring in Harold's planning. He did originally but a couple of sub-par performances where he seemd to lose heart appears to have put paid to his prospects. He seems to have worries in his home life and I wonder whether he has been affected by the unrest in his homeland.
Or something even more sinister? Family members held to ransom until he pays over loads of dosh?? Stranger things have happened.
I would definitely keep him - he started well for us last season, but hasnt pushed on so far this season but he does have potential.
