    Stevie Taylor is 27 (shirt number) today. Been with us for 13 years, hope that isn't an unlucky number for him and he'll soon be fit and back helping us out, heaven know's we could do with him back.

    Happy Birthday Saylor, great servant, great ambassidor for the club, and a real down to earth lad.

    And to think he's only just coming into his prime as a defender.

    Feel for Stevie. For me when he's fit he's at least as good as Jagielka, and to be honest in the championship season he was so far above Colo and every other defender in the league it was ridiculous. Thankfully Colo came good and was better for the experience.

    Happy Birthday Steve! Hope he gets back to his best and gets that England call-up at some point.

    He was great as captain at U21, his hop penalty was fantastic to watch, when he damaged his ankle and stayed on the pitch as we'd used all our sub.
