I had heard about Kei Kamara being a target but no idea where the Jamie Mackie one has come from. Personally I would like to see him play for us, good hard working player.
Must admit Mackie would be a great fit in the Norwich set up, but I am a massive Mackie fan and would be loathed to see him go.
There is a logical flaw in the story. When isn't there when it's published in the gutter press? If we need to reduce our massive wage bill, it's not Mackie's wages that are the problem.
Absolutely Squad numbers aren't a problem..at moment not really enough (good) players to fill the squad Mackies salary is not a problem Lack of strikers is a problem (Mackie is a striker) Lack of triers is a problem (Mackies a trier) Harry likes Mackie ...I think he knows his shortcomings and slight lack of high level ability...but he still likes him and Mackie was part of Harrys philosophy of putting the triers in...and getting results. Selling Mackie would destroy a lot of what Harry has created in our team. Harry will not do that Mackie is not going anywhere in this window
No truth. Reasons given above and if we do go down I cant think of many other players i'd rather have in my squad next season
Why sell to a club that you hope might be in the relegation battle with you? That's why Samba was not allowed to come to QPR last Jan.
