I would hope he got away with only a 3 game ban (although a few weeks back I'd have been hoping for 6 games!!) but I don't think it would change my opinion that he deliberately booted the kid in the ribs.

As I said my first viewing was on YouTube from a different angle and to me it looks a successful attempt at getting the ball. When ou at the one on this thread it looks bad. Only hazard knows

Groan, the press and PC Brigade will make the usual meal of this and how disgusted they all are. The kid was time wasting in a match where literally millions are invested and at stake. At worst he just maybe will have a small bruise. I am no fan of Chelsea or Hazzard but I suspect the latter was just trying to get the ball quickly to get on with the game. Showing some urgency and passion. Obviously on here that is not something we have witnessed in our beloved team too often this year, so it is difficult to appreciate. No doubt the kid will claim all sorts of mental trauma and be on Breakfast TV to tell us his awful harrowing tale and how he can no longer watch football etc etc. This lilly-livered, lick spittle PC crap just makes me sick.

It's all totally ridiculous and all concerned should be embarrassed - the press will have a field day but the whole thing's boring already

Mate if you haven't noticed a lot of double posting is happening on the forum. TBH hazard shouldn't kick him, a little slap on the head would do just fine :emoticon-0130-devil

Teams do train their ball boys to be quick when theyre losing and waste time when theyre winning, its something that should be looked into. Ive always said the refs adding on double time for time wasting would stop it in an instant.

They do it everywhere except Loftus Road, Ive even seen Cesar telling the ballboys to slow down or not get the ball at all.

One thing is to be slow when you're returning the ball and another is holding on to it with your dear life when already player is there to pick it up. The boy was an utter prick

Every time I see it I can't help but laugh. The indignation is way over the top. Of course hazard shouldn't have done it and he'll be punished accordingly. The best bit I like is just after it happens the boy looks up puts his arm out as to say whats that all about, sees the comotion on the pitch and then in true top footballer play acting style decides he should be seriously injured and rolls over clutching his side as if he's been shot!! Maybe he was in shock at 1st and that masked the pain.......

Where does one join this PC "Brigade"? I've never found the address of its HQ, the URL of its website or caught sight of a membership form. They don't seem to be anything like as well organised as, say, the Salvation Army. Being the proud owner of a lily-flavoured liver and being a dedicated licker of spittle (tastes gooooooood), my take on tonight's incident is a bit different to yours: the ball boy is an idiot, Hazard is a bigger idiot, but the idiocy of both is outdone by the knob who runs Chelsea's official Twitter account. SAME OLD CHELSEA, classless as ever. Expanded on a little here:

he is but thats typical of lots of teenagers here, total twats. the sad fact is that he's a directors son so you'd have thought he'd have been bought up better.

As much as I dislike Chelsea, this has been blown well out of proportion, the kid was clearly holding up the ball and Hazard has(somewhat stupidly) kicked the ball from under him, he is clearly trying to get the ball out and the kid has been watching too much of Saurez rolling around on MOTD!

Hazard is the idiot here, he should have stamped on the kid's head and then kicked him in the bollox, if you're going to get sent off you might as well get your money's worth, ask our Joey...<laugh>
