Hazard should had made his red card worth it by kicking the Taff ****er's teeth out!

    <doh>

The stupid little bastard was lying on top of the ball, Hazard kicked the ball from beneath him.

Chelsea will successfully appeal that joke of a red card.

The ball boy should be stripped of all further duties. <ok>

    Joker, never mind <doh>

I reckon he kicked him in the ribs, I'm not defending the ballboy, he was an arse, but you can't do things like that, doesn't matter how frustrated you are. He'll get a lengthy ban.

My previous name has nothing to do with this.

It's clear that there was no real 'crime' here - I care nothing for Hazard, Chelsea or anybody from Abramovic's money mad play-thing... simply calling things as I saw them.

The stupid little ballboy was attempting to waste time by not giving the player the ball - which you have to remember is actually his ****ing job!

Non-event that will hopefully give Rafa Benitez a genuine reason for not being able to score against Swansea for 3 hours. <ok> Thus giving him the job full time and Chelsea never win another trophy. <cheers>

Before you lads condone what Hazard did and get on the ball-boys case, I think it's only fair we look back to the first half, when Hazard went down and stayed down wincing in pain from an innocuous tackle while Swansea broke. As soon as Chelsea nabbed the ball, Hazard got up and started haring around the field without reference to his obviously badly broken (in several places) legs... #karma'sabitch

The "kid" is actually 17, despite looking about 10 on TV.

Absolutely. But ball-boys are on the go slow every week when the home team are winning too. I remember this season when Stevie Harper actually and obviously told a ball boy not to give him the ball back to waste some time.

Hazard's reaction is stupid from a regulation point of view at least, but I also tend to think a decent human being doesn't resort to kicking at someone when that someone does something that annoys them <ok>

Red was the correct decision, whatever you make of the motive.

Of that, I'm sure you're not wrong - but nobody wants to see players getting physically aggressive with any of the officials, including youngsters who are part of services that make the game happen.

That's the whole point though, he didn't kick the boy, he kicked the ball.

Having watched it live, there was no malice involved, simply the ambition to reclaim the ball.

The poor lad was clearly confused - he thought he was playing Rugby for Wales and looked to keep the ball... or something.

I get quite irritated by bleeding-heart moralists who look to jump up and down on people.

I'm all for persecution when it's warranted, but it's really not here.

I've no doubt the media circus will have a ****ing field day with this <doh>

Yep he's going to get a ban for that . Can't kick other players like that, let alone children at the side of the pitch. The ballboy would have looked like a right twat if Hazard had walked off making it obvious to the ref what was going on!

OJ's lawyer would struggle to prove that Hazard kicked the ball, and not the kid. But hey, we've all got different tellies, maybe my 60" plasma is lacking in a bit of detail ... ;)

Both wrong the young lad shouldn't have fell on the ball and Hazard shouldn't have kicked out. In Hazard's defence I do thing he kicked the ball and may have caught the lad but I also think he did it through frustation.

Personally, the only people I see making a mountain out a mole hill are the numbskulls who want to bestow violence on a lad for not bowing to almighty Hazard's demands. The fact they are complaining about feigning injury and cheating just conveys how little of that match they actually watched, how little they understand the rules of the game and quite honestly a lot of the comments people are making on the internet right now betrays their thuggish personality <ok>.

It was not Chelsea's ball, so Hazard shouldn't have been near the ball-boy to begin with. He's tried to get the ball, but kicking at someone is tantamount to lashing out and is a red by precedent. In any dead-ball situation, if a player kicks out at another, it's a red card. Same with ball-boys. The ball-boys actions are not even close to the worst thing we've seen on the football pitch this season, both Hazard and ball-boy have apologised, the red card was rightly brandished and punishment is possibly forthcoming. Nothing more to say is there?
