Ball went out of play, ball ball went to get it, Hazard came over to snatch it off him. The somehow the ball boy ended up dropping to the floor and laying on the ball, hazard tried pushing the ball out with his hand, failed to do so and resulted in kicking him.

I think he was trying to get the ball and wasn't being aggressive but he shouldn't have kicked him anyway, he should have just let the referee deal with him

 

Nah at first I thought he was laying on te ball to stop hazard taking a quick corner, but he was on the ground cause hazard was hastling him for the ball, ball boy fell over on top of the ball, and hazard tried to kick it out from under him. Instead he just kicked him in the ribs and got sent off.

 

Oh well, bye Chelsea!!

After Villa went 1-0 up early on, Millwall have just gone 2-1 up with about a minute left to play. Poor Villa

Back onto the game and Villa are falling. Fast. Got Newcastle next (I think...) and that's a six-pointer.

 

I never do a accumulator when its cup weekend because the teams put out make the results far too unpredictable

 

I was thinking that but I put it on anyway! Mixed it in with a couple of League One & Scottish League games.

Had that down as a draw and a draw would have been a fair result. Both sides would have been happy with that I think. Then Marquis popped up...

Only 50p though so not a massive loss.

Villa look in big trouble. They have got Newcastle next (Tuesday night) and Newcastle's new players will give them a massive lift in my opinion. Fancy Newcastle for that and if Lambert loses that, he's on very, very thin ground.

Need some defensive players before the window closes on Thursday. Lerner invested big time in Bent when they were in trouble the season before last and he needs to do that again.

If he doesn't, Villa are down.

 

I can't see how Lambert's job is any longer tenable to be honest. They are dropping and fast, they have lost to a League Two and a Championship side in the space of about four days. He insists on playing three at the back in an attempt to sure things up but yet they continue to concede goals in every game.

However, on the other side of the coin, if Lambert was to leave, who comes in? Who would want a job with no money, an inexperienced squad playing with relegation and no time to get anyone in if they can somehow drum up a deal or two.

They are in big big trouble IMO.
