With Swords in Exile great time for me to post this to show again how we grew as a team and squad, won the championship and have still had to revert to our core players to rebuild a team from. Good exercise to trace a few of the first teamers including the loans and you will see that they are generally doing well in teams that are doing ok 1 GK Paddy Kenny 2 DF Bradley Orr 3 DF Clint Hill 4 MF Shaun Derry 5 DF Fitz Hall 7 MF Adel Taarabt 9 FW Heiðar Helguson 10 MF Ãkos Buzsáky 11 MF Alejandro FaurlÃn 12 FW Jamie Mackie 13 DF Kaspars Gorkšs 14 MF Martin Rowlands 15 MF Wayne Routledge (on loan from Newcastle) 16 DF Matthew Connolly 17 MF Lee Cook 19 FW Patrick Agyemang 20 FW Rob Hulse 21 FW Tommy Smith 22 DF Peter Ramage 23 MF Petter Vaagan Moen 24 GK Radek Černý 25 MF Hogan Ephraim 26 DF Gary Borrowdale 30 MF Romone Rose 32 GK Elvijs Putninš 33 FW Antonio German 35 MF Josh Parker 36 MF Bruno Andrade 37 MF Giorgos Tofas 39 DF Pascal Chimbonda 40 DF Michael Harriman 41 DF Danny ****tu 42 FW Troy Hewitt — FW Rowan Vine Now here is our current squad going into a league match against the champions. Just shows how bad our transfer dealings have been that we have to rely on Derry and Hill still. I AM INFECTED. I think we've left it a little too late now to survive but will make a good go of it rather than vanish without a whimper, which is what I feared around November.
Self imposed I believe? I thought the last debate, although a bit confusing, was quite comical and all clean healthy fun?
pmsl. my misses came in at the wrong moment. rased an eyebrow and tutted. Glad she's got an open mind to that kinda thing. phew. lol.
Back on topic.....that squad should be good enough for mid table at worse.....still beggars belief that we are in this sort of trouble.....when you look at the Championship squad it's almost like going back to the dark ages but it is less than 2 years.
We would be comfortably mid table if Harry was on board from the start of the season. Just goes to show what a balls up Hughes made of the job.
