2 goals down against a very good side in Swansea and at a ground we haven't done well at lately. However our recent away form has been brilliant and we are a top top cup side, probably the best in the country for the last 5-6 years. Tonight is basically the final, can't see either team losing to Bradford on a neutral pitch. Hope the boys appreciate that and give it a good go. Ba MUST start. Simple as that. We need leaders and some big lads on the pitch so we can mix it up a bit. I think we can turn this around but have a feeling, much like last night, Swansea will do just enough. I'm going for 2-1 to us on the night. Hope I'm wrong!!
6 straight away wins would suggest we have a chance but I'm not going to be a hypocrite now and suggest that the League Cup means anything to me. To that extent I'd rather we used the game as it should be and play some of the fringe players like Marin,Bertrand(at left back) etc and rest a few for more important days to come.
The possibility of a match at Wembley with Bradford maks this worth fighting for! Another bit of history!
Views of fans of the big clubs really varies on the issue of the importance of the league cup. For me a chance of silverware and a wembley final can not be sniffed at. Play fringe players in earlier rounds but if you are 90 minutes from a final against 4 tier opposition, you should go for it. To that end, I'd put out the best side we can. This game is more important that the Brentford one in my view.
Of course you can do it. Massive firepower in Chelsea if used properly. Ba has to get some real game time if you have any chance imo and not just come on for 10 minutes. Bookies have you as favourites as does Laudrup, but I'm going out on a huge limb and saying 2-0 on the night to us. Not because you're poor - far from it - but because I'm guessing you'll have to push forward from the off and we have a team that can exploit that. As others have said whoever wins tonight should win the Cup.
I don't think you're favs but can certainly turn this around if and it's a big if the whole team is on song. Swansea are a difficult team and if they nick a goal I think it's all over.

If the referee did his job as early as the first 10 minutes then we might have been on for it, as it goes he didnt , so meh
