Today's racing comes to us hopefully from Ayr and from the AW tracks of Kempton and Lingfield... Ayr has another inspection at 10.45 so you will have to wait confirmation from bonny Scotland before placing any bets. But you can bet away to your hearts content on the AW tracks if that so pleases... Sorry should have mentioned that we also have racing across the water in Limerick... Please post any thoughts on today or any other racing coming up in the near future... Good luck to all as usual...
Ballybogey 8/1 1.40 Ayr. cannot see Thimarr handling conditions at all. McCoy booked for our selection. Kempton 5.30 keep an eye out for VALKOV after a long time off but fairly treated for Tony Carroll. e/w price.
Morning, pilgrims. More snow in my locality this morn but my mole at the Met still predicts the thaw to commence on Saturday with temperatures the day after to reach double figures! However, in an attempt to warm the cockles of the old regular readers, right now, I’ll nominate one on the all-weather: Reyadour (5.00 Kempton Park) – arrived in the county with a decent reputation after some very respectable placed form on the old level across the Channel but disappointed for Alan King in his only run for him to date. This was back in November when backed into favouritism for a Sandown Park juvenile event but there were subsequent excuses as he pulled off a shoe during the race. Now back on the level I would expect a much more polished performance here. There are a couple of ‘unknowns’ amongst the unraced 3YO’s but Reyadour had some nice form in the book in France and a reproduction of his best should see him go very close. Is priced up by those bookie chappies, at the moment, at a very attractive 5/1. People, ‘let’s hope he brings the bounty, back to the county’. Good luck, all.
Ayr now facing a third inspection at Noon. Is the old Clerk up there trying to break the record for the number of looks! Huntingdon on Friday OFF. I say OFF. In a way I’m glad as it may have seen me break one of my punting rules which is never to be encouraged. No, not back a winner, before any wag says that, but place a bet in a ‘Pertemps Qualifier’. I think (although not totally sure) that as result of the abandonment everything that had been entered is now qualified for the Cheltenham ‘Final’. Zaynar off 146 in that heat (down a whopping 22 pounds from his career high) would be most intriguing if that’s the way the Pipe’s go.
Morning Gents I have just joined the forum and I would like to say hello. I have been watching from a distance and reading your comments with great interest. I admire the knowledge and tipping advice from some of you guys. I feel this is a professional, serious forum, and I also sense a level of frustration with the weather knocking out various meetings. I am sure if we all go to church on sunday the weather will improve, and we can contimue with our weekly donations to the poor, underpriviliged bookmakers charity! Enjoy your day.
You are more than welcome to the Not606 forum Bluefingers... Hope you continue to enjoy what is indeed a very good forum and website...
Just a couple from Ayr today if all goes ahead... And both from the Pipe yard... He dosnt send many to Ayr but has a 50% strike rate, even if its only from 4 runs, with 2 wins and 1 placed... Top Wood ran well to finish 2nd behind Bakbensher at Haydock in the heavy and muddy conditions last December, plus its a step down in class for him here. I just think he will be just a little bit to good for the rest... Consigliere ran a super race lto to gain 2nd behind Big Fella Thanks at Wincanton and hopefully that will put him in good heart for this test. Kieron Edgar rode then, as today, and that will help also with his 7lb claim... Top Wood, 7/4 Consigliere, 13/8 Singles and a Double... Good luck to all if your having a play... Oh, and i quiet like the look of Ben Akram in the last race over the flat... Currently a 6/1 shot...
if ayr is on and if it runs Rockawango in the first should be very close, got given it last time but faded late on, up against a mcain hot pot but reports are its going very well at home and will like the ground not sure about the snow you know what those cheese eating surrender monkeys are like s t a y f r o s t y
13:00 Lingfield - The *****ose (Last two runs disappointing, but drop in class might help a bit in this one). A Hearty Welcome Bluefingers!

Consigliere is a bet for me today, I was at Wincanton and he ran a belter and probably was better than the result too. He just bumped into a much better horse on the day, and I don't think he meets anything like Big Fella Thanks here
