Well done the battams Villa will hopefully implode in the league now - lamberts doing a good job don't sack him randy
Contentious I know but I've got a lot of sympathy for Lambert. Tough job he's got and I really do hope they give him the time to do it properly. But great for Bradford. Proper cup story. Now come on the Swans...
Yeah right, he was good for us but as far as his career goes we were better for him. Pity he never realised it at the time, the grass isn't always greener Lambo
Well, it seems that the over-riding emotion here is a fine blend of smugness and bitterness. I for one couldn't really care less about what happens to Villa and Lambert, In Hughton We Trust!
Taken from the BBC report on tonight's match - JRP in Birmingham via text: "Villa...time for Lambert to go. He can't do it. We have been disgraced tonight and are heading down. Lambert hasn't go it...Nigel Adkins please."!!!!
I have to say Lambert looked a broken man on the touchline tonight. It needn't have been like this Paul but you've only yourself to blame.
I live with a Villa fan, she was at the game tonight. No matter what time she gets back tonight, I am staying up to have a good, long laugh at her.
With or without Lambert I think villa have had it. They've been in self-destruction for, what, 4 years now? It's only heading one way...
lambert would expect no sympathy from norwich fans and will have none for us if we go down. i bear him no malice either and would not take pleasure in his sacking. whle delighted for bradford and the triumph of the underdog i would be just as pleased if it were any other pl team instead.
I agree Lambert looked a broken man at the end of the game, dead man walking i think, not sure the reasons for leaving Norwich to be honest,i understood it when Brenden rodgers took the Liverpool job but i dont see the current Villa squad/club as much of an improvement from Norwich if at all, there is far better things going on at your club and you have been moving in the right direction for a few years,Villa have indeed been going into reverse for quite a while. Momentum is vital in this league and villa look too stop start for me, i think they will go down along with Reading and one other, maybe Southampton or QPR. I know we all enjoy a gloat when a former manager comes a cropper, its part of football and long may it continue....now for Brenden to lose the plot at Liverpool!..
