Mafia II: Day 4

In the dead of the night....

And so the plane carrying our final four fearless members continued at its frankly blitzing pace toward Spain. Our gallant heroes had earned the right to a peaceful sleep after the dispatching of the dastardly tomtom, and so peacefully did they sleep. Peacefully and unsuspecting....

There was a knock at SilverArrow's door. He flinched, and reached for the machete-launching crossbow under his bed, but then relaxed as he remembered that he was safe because tomtom was gone. "Come in," he said wearily.

He rubbed his eyes trying to make out the figure standing in the doorway. "Oh, it's just you. What's up?" he asked.

"IMMA FIRIN MAH LAZOR!!!!"

The noise and eruption of pure energy and light in the room woke up and shocked everybody on the plane. Nazara, Forza and BLS all met up at exactly the same point right outside Silver's room. And looking inside they saw that just about everything in the room, Silver included, had been disintergrated into tiny piles of rubble. They all went back into the hall and just started staring into space.

"Don't tell me," said BLS flatly, "There's a second killer on this plane and it's one of us three."

"Yep," said Forza shortly.

"With advanced 'LAZOR FIRIN' capabilities?"

"Most likely," said Nazara.

"Bring it on."

EDIT: I've just finished writing the story, and IMHO, it's by far and away the best one yet

 

MAFIA II: DAY 4 - ENDING!


The heavens twisted and thunder roared as night began to descend on our voyage, signalling a freaking epic conclusion to what has been a pretty weird series of events.


BrightLampShade came out of the bathroom on the top deck muttering "Seriously Nazara, that's disgusting! Why has no-one cleaned that up yet?" and walked as fast from the odour of the bathroom as he could. But he didn't make it too far before he stopped suddenly.


Forza Di Resta had Nazara pinned up to the wall of the plane by the throat.


"Answer me!" he shouted.


"What the hell's going on here!?!?" yelled BLS


"Well I guess the cat's out of the bag now..." Forza muttered.


And with that he shot an enormous laser beam of crackling, blue energy from his mouth at BLS which would have annihilated BLS easily had he not ducked at the last second.


"I don't need laser powers to take you down. I'll kick your ass," BLS said quietly.


"Haha, you fool. Unknown to most, I am the master of the ancient tribe of SHOOP DA WHOOP! You cannot possibly hope to best me!"


And with that, Forza blasted a hole in the ceiling of the plane and leapt out of it in a single bound, landing on the planes roof. "But I'll humour you. Hit me with your best shot!" he cried.


However he was very suprised when a hole up the other end of the plane was blasted in the ceiling and BLS appeared through it as if he were levitating himself onto the planes roof.


"Well unknown to most, I'm the love child of Gandalf and Dumbledore," BLS said calmly.

BLS put his hands together as if he were praying and drew them apart. As he did so a wand of pure gold appeared between them.


"Hmm.....BLARGH!!!" cried Forza as he shot a blue energy beam towards BLS, who reacted instinctively and calmly by firing a multicolored beam of....whatever the hell it was. The two attacks met and an explosion of not-so big proportions left smoke streaming off the back of the plane.


The two continued their rooftop battle with all sorts of cool special effects sent whirring at each other long into the night as the thunder cracked and lightning streaked across the sky. BLS had even tried some kind of 'sweet justice' technique which involved all of the various ways that people had died on the plane up until that point coming attack Forza. He was attacked by wine glasses, the ghost of EternalMSC, even Silver's mega shark. All recieved the 'SHOOP DA WHOOP' treatment. They were too evenly matched.


"Hey hold up a second...Where's Nazara?" said Forza slowly, looking around him. How he did that while firing a laser beam from his mouth I'll never know.


They stopped battling for a second. "He's in the bathroom," explained BLS, "Bowel problems again."


"Hahaha, it's funny because he should probably see a doctor about that," chortled Forza.


The two of them started laughing for a while and then it started to slow down again, and then it eventually stopped.


"We went off on a bit of a tangent there didn't we?"


"Just a bit. Should we start up the epic battle again?" laughed BLS.


"Sure. BLARGH!!!" shouted Forza.


And so as the battle raged on, Nazara had finally vacated the bathroom muttering, "I call dibs on not cleaning that up."


The two rooftop battlers failed to notice however, until the smell started to drift upwards and as the bathroom was directly below Forza, he got the full blast of it (no irony intended). He staggered back from the putrid stench, and that moment's distraction was all BLS needed to blast Forza off the rooftop. Forza tumbled inelegantly through the air and was out of sight before he hit the ground.


BLS returned to the inside of the plane which was miraculously still flying.


"Did you beat him?" Nazara asked.


"Yup," BLS replied.


"Cool."


Before they could speak any more enthusiastically about it, there was an explosion at the back of the plane. "Oh what the hell is it now!?!?" said an exasperated Nazara.


It turns out Julius Caesar's body - which had been stored in the same room as the updates - had exploded for no reason whatsoever, destroying the very valuable updates in the process.


As a result Not606 F1, despite making it to pre-season testing with two genuine members alive and running the whole show, finished dead last on -26 points. Solid effort.


GAME OVER!!! THE FANS WIN!!!

We going to do our talking in here? I'm going to assume so.

First off: really, really hats off to RR for the narration and running this thing, really livened up the game. You will receive your rep in due course. Time zone differences led to some interesting moments but that can't be helped.
Second off: great fun. Really great fun all round, everyone was involved in some fun banter wherever, plus it was really close up until the last minute. It's actually gutting how close Forza and I came to winning - as soon as Bando was revealed as the cop we honestly thought we had it in the bag. Perhaps that was our weakness. I think if it wasn't for Nazara's decision to hold off on his vote we'd have won pretty much, so very well played the fans who picked it up in the last two day phases.
Thirdly: just one little point, we need to clarify things like the "killers can't bump each other off" rule if we do this again because that was one of the main reasons people got onto Forza and I, that we "looked suspicious" when it was brought up.
Lastly: Curse you Silver

Lol my own insanity got the killers, but killed the most people does that make me a killer as well?

Yup Tom you getting angry played in my favour, Naz voting for you with that loophole that was around for a few minutes cleared him in my opinion. Forza delaying his vote to go with the most of either me, Naz BLS was something I would do but I did see it coming....i think.


Well done though, you did make it very hard. Cheers RR for the sorry and patience with us taking almost a day to pick

Well played everyone, I didn't want any special role in this game but I loved being a killer. Just want to say a big thank you to RR for running the game, and to Silver, for making the game so interesting/crazy(?).

I hope I don't sound like a sore loser, but I think in future dead people should keep away from the day threads - if not for El_Bando's incessant reminders about Silver being proved innocent, we could have convinced Nazara and BLS to vote for Silver on day 3, and subsequently won the game.

Just out of curiousity, who did Julius Caesar choose to save on the night he was killed?
