Thank goodness as from next season I will be able to watch and enjoy MOTD 2

I can't stand Colin Murray's irritating, whining voice, I quite like Chappers! <ok>

Chappers is brill and makes Final Score very entertaining. However, didn't dislike CM either, these two are the best by a country mile. linaker is sh*t and as for Gabby bloody Logan - talentless bint!

I really like Colin Murray and don't know why people don't to be honest. He sounds just like McVeigh to me, and I personally don't find either of them particularly whiney. I don't mind Chappers, however I feel this year he's been spending too much time on 606 with that dickhead Savage and seems to be morphing into a slightly less annoying version of him - which can never be a good thing.

Personally I really dont like Chappers. Think he is a bit of an idiot and does not know much about football. I imagine him and Savage will be on every week as on 606 which could well make it s***

Best thing about MOTD2 is making more use of Pat Nevin. They needed to replace Lee Dixon with another pundit who spoke sense.

How do the BBC deem him employable?

He's controversial. Controversy creates listeners. Frustrating but that's probably what it comes down to.

I also didn't mind Colin Murray, I thought he was quite good and always took the piss out of Hansen.

I too like Pat Nevin as mentioned above, I think he is the best pundit about at the moment.

I think Colin Murray's great, that's a real shame in my opinion.

I agree, at least he's asks interesting questions, not the generic, sleep inducing rubbish Lineker spews to get the equally generic, sleep inducing answers.

Match of the Day is a totally **** production to be honest, pundits are rubbish, appaling analysis, just describing whats happening, Shearer being the worst of all.

They should have kept Murray and sacked the rest, just kept Nevin Keown

Seems the consensus of opinion is that Colin Murray is quite liked. I also think he's fine and like his cheeky piss taking style. Makes it far less bland.

This thread is sort of back firing on you Dave :emoticon-0102-bigsm

Not too bothered, we are rarely on MOTD 2 anyway. Colin Murray and Mark Chapman as well as most of the pundits are much better than Lineker, Hansen, Shearer and Lawrenson on MOTD.

That's the beauty of a football forum, opinions are like arseholes, everybody has one ;)

I appreciate that others have a different view to mine, doesn't make me change my mind though, nor do I think any less of those who's views oppose mine!

    Great comment from the i

If Hansen, Shearer or Lawrenson are vexed by Murray's audacity in criticising prefessional footballers, then they should perhaps consider their own temerity in passing off their 19th hole platitudes as professional analysis.
