Billy Sharp is one floating around, but the opinions on it's credibilitly are divided. So other than Sharp, DJ Campbell and the Egyptians, not really unfortunately.
You've got to love the regular names, it's like the candidacy for a new manager! Every transfer window we seem to be linked with Billy Sharp and FC hahahaha!
I think we've been linked with Fraizer Campbell every Transfer window since 2008 Becchio seems to be a recent name we're always linked with now as well.
Billy Sharp is a none starter, we have never been interested in him - AFAIK Becchio would be a great addition, there is no denying he knows where the net is, but I dont see Leeds selling, nor do I see him wanting to come to us. SB seemed quite surprised when Burnsy asked him about the Egyptians after the game, I think the news broke during the match and he was possibly hoping to keep it under wraps until the deal(s) were confirmed. I think those two, along with DJ will be our main dealings in the next couple of weeks, although I'm sure he will have a couple of backups just in case. Saturday would be the ideal time to blood the two of them.
We've already got a transfers thread, they're all on there. As far as we know, we in for DJ Campbell and Gedo and we're trying to get Elmo back, everything else is bollocks.
Noise coming from Egypt still states we're in for both of them though. SB is obviously playing the market, is Elmo, or the Egyptian the fall back guy?

whilst i agree it's a load of rubbish, the billy sharp thing is an odd one. matt dean must've been very confident in his source with that one so he's either been sold a dummy or the club were looking into the possibility. nothing's been said on it from matt deans end since saturday as far as i'm aware.
Hopefully, they at-least know who works in their company; @mikewhitesport: Not aware of a Pete Smith in BBC Sport but it's being looked into. Don't want #hcafc fans to be misled on DJ Campbell info. @PeteSmithBBC
