i have to disagree on Naismith was one of the best of a bad bunch tonight, won so many headers it was unreal. Jelavic needs dropping, well out of form.
Eh? Don't know what you saw that I didn't mate, he was **** IMO Agree on Jelavic he looks a shadow of the confident striker we saw last season. Forget 4th we're simply not good enough
Howard - 6 - Didn't do anything special, almost every shot was straight at him, woeful distribution. Coleman - 6 - Done well defensively but didn't get much joy in front of him. Hope his injury isn't bad. Jagielka - 6 - Clean sheet was luck more than anything but he made a few good challenges Distin - 5 - Awful distribution, made some strange needless decisions too (pushing Yoshida for one). Baines - 6 - Not his best, crossing uncharacteristically poor. Osman - 4 - Was really bad tonight, anonymous as he usually is when he's poor. Neville - 5 - Hoof ball Naismith - 6 - Good and bad, won lots of headers, defended well against Shaw and made a lot of intelligent runs. Fellaini - 7 - Much prefer him further back, one of the reason we picked up in the second half. Pienaar - 5 - one of those nights. Jelavic - 3 - Didn't get great service but didn't link up very well and missed a glorious chance. Needs dropping. Anichebe - 8 - Boruc made a brilliant save to deny him, he gave us a real boost. Must start next game. Mirallas - 6 - Didn't have a lot of time to make his stamp on the game.
I've got to disagree, I though Naismith was much more improved tonight and unfortunately, no one of that starting XI can take any credit. Chelsea give away a 2 goal league to Southampton at home a few days ago. They'll still finish top four. It's only one result.
We need a spark mate & that is usually provided in the January window. This year we've got nothing to trade that is spare so we're not going to get the new signing that could provide the spark that we sorely need at the minute Well done Bill p.s Naismith is toilet
Hey guys, was a good spirited game tonight even if I was a bit surprised how quiet your lads were first half! Even on your off day your still a class outfit, think if you can get your chairman to dig deep in his pockets and add a little depth to your squad you could really challenge that 4th spot! Don't feel to bad about only taking a point, we aren't that bad...2 losses in 13 games can you believe! Mirallas looked lively for a guy who's been out for a while and Anichibe is a UNIT, would love to have him in the saints team! Good luck for the rest of the season and a safe trip home to all you fans who travelled, good turn out btw!!!
Cannot understand you guys, although we were OK in the first half, we tired quickly in the 2nd, Jelly babies miss was probably the worst by a visiting team this season, can't blame the pitch, but he did disappoint tonight, am coveting Felaini, I never realised how versatile he was, DC tonight but needed more support, Howard was the true difference in the end, although our crazy horse Boruc did well too, great admiration for your fans tonight glad they got a deserved point for their efforts. Normally you would have had an easy 3 points, but after our problems over the week-end, getting a point was more important to us than you, thanks for a decent game.
So far South** we don't need it. What's all this Snow thing we keep hearing about..? **Soft Southerners.
