GOALS.........GOALS.........GOALS, FRAZIER CAMPBELL WILL ALWAYS SCORE GOALS!! Best of luck to him, brilliant lad!
This puzzles me and worries me greatly, was it really worth losing another forward for the sake of 600k, yes it frees a wage up for 6 months but we shoulda signed someone first. We've seen how Liverpool cocked up letting Mandy go without a replacement even though they thought they had one, took 6 months to rectify putting huge pressure on Rodgers. Our own situation when we had Gyan up front, Campbell and welbeck coming back from injury and they both broke down. (Jan window) Hope someone's already signing that contract, now
Can see why he has gone can also see why we should have kept hold of him until we had someone else in, or maybe we have got someone in and they are keeping it quiet in case Arry finds out.
At the moment we have Fletcher, MoN also reckons Sess is a forward, and of course Wickham and if one Gateshead born D Graham comes in we should be OK. Personally I would prefer another striker that is better than Graham, but needs must, cut cloth etc I guess?
Tbh Frazier never played a major part for us, so his departure isn't of great significance, even if we don't sign anyone, but I'm certain we will sign a striker, so for me it's not worrying
Doesn't worry me either mate it just seems strange when MON has come out (not that way) and said that no one else will leave until we have replacements in. To me this means we are in the advanced stages of another signing and probably a forward.
Frazier is one of those rare breeds in football. A good, honest, hard working professional. Good luck to the lad.
from @FraizerCampbell Fraizer Campbell twitter Thanks for having me Sunderland it's been emotional I will miss it all. All the best for the rest of the season lads #hawaythelads from @FraizerCampbell Fraizer Campbell twitter Looking forward to my new chapter down in Cardiff city! Can't wait to put the shirt on an get playing some football! #bluebird This shows what a top lad he is and why he will get a heroes welcome when he comes back here in the future.
I couldn't possibly have better wishes for the lad. Sad it never happened here, and I will clap my palms off when he comes back next year. All the best lad
Hopefully you'll all get the chance to give him a warm welcome back to the SoL next season. And I think his goals will fire us up to the Prem to give him the chance to come back and get that welcoming from all of you.
I hope so pal. All he needs is confidence I think. Strikers thrive on it. Once he gets that back, hopefully, he'll be banging them in for fun. On thing I would like is for him to score on the last game of the season for us vs Hull, that would prove a point to all of the Hull fans saying "he's lost it" and "he's not good enough".
