That wouldn't be my problem how MON plays them but at the mo we only have Fletch and Connor.
Don't think Connor is experienced enough yet to play upfront alone in MONs preferred style of play however, whats not to say we may play two up front in certain games. Fletch may get injured. Plus Zarate would only be a loan deal.
Like you say SM highly unlikely but we have let Ji, Saha & Campbell leave. We would have less forwards but hopefully better quality.

Only 1 game but he ripped Barca's defence to bits.

Hooper is a cracking player, strong as an ox, fantastic movement, I'd be happy to pay £8million for him, I think he'd be excellent.

The Zarate deal seems close, season loan with a PRE ARRANGED fee (someone is learning) of £6.7million.

He'll be the CM I hope, and that is a smart, smart move.

RB really does remain a concern, but Gardner may be perma-shifted there to accomodate Zarate, and he's never let us down there one bit.

I would not mind Hooper, he might cost more in the way of a fee but I bet he is not on massive wages so it might even up over the duration on the contact.

I don't think we need a RB. Gardner is playing really well and has got us a few very decent goals. He is great at set pieces too and is quite creative going forward. It would have to be a hell of a signing to get someone better. I know he came as a CM but he was a RB for years when he was younger.

We need another CM IMO because Catts is always injured and a striker.

One season in PL mate albeit a decent one if he isn't good enough for Swansea why is he good enough for us?
Not bothered about the barcode bit he is too similar to what we have and as said I'd rather we improved defence as we need right across the back line imho.
p.s. We can roll about in the snow later <ok>

I trust MON's judgement, so I'm completely fine with signing DG.

If we sign Graham, Zarate and a cb or a rb (I say or as we can only expect so much lol) that would be fantastic business from us imo

Think he's 50/50 in the judgement stakes mate for Fletcher and AJ we have Saha and McFadden lets hope he gets more of the former in and less of the latter.

    Sadly, not the best, Talksport.

I've been looking for reports in Italy in Gazette etc but they are all very vague, although it is mentioned.

The thing that gave weight to the usually way off Talksport was the fee, £6.7 million just SEEMS like given info, rather than a punt, if you know what I mean?

Maybe the Celtic result in the ECL could determine any sale of Hooper.

If rumours are to be believed it could well be as above! Don't think we will sign any more central defenders, plenty of cover to see us through the season now imo.

Fair point but what I'd say is he hasn't bought a flop yet as in paid a transfer fee, which suggests he's being careful so if he thinks Graham is worthy of a fee I'm confident he is :)
