How many do we want? A squad of 25 goalkeepers? What message does this send to Rudd and Steer? And aren't there rather more pressing problems we should be dealing with right now?
I'm also underwelmed by the signing of another goalkeeper, when there are greater needs elsewhere. Lee Camp is a solid and dependable keeper, but then so are the other four! I don't understand this at all. I guess this means only one striker now, if we get that! Sorely disappointed and feeling even lower now!
Bunn isn't really impressing me so far, Rudd and Steer both need more experience, Ruddy obviously out for a long while, so another GK on loan seems sensible to me. I'm sure we'll still buy 1 or 2 more players, hopefully strikers.
Agreed Drunky. Steer and Rudd need experience so to let them out on loan we need a back up 'keeper for Bunn as Ruddy is out.
I believe Rudd needs games not just experience, the two go together. I can't believe that he is not considered good enough. Why is he here then? Cheap? What? I'm baffled to say the least.
I think Ruddy will be out till the end of the season if this comes off, and to pick up someone like Lee Camp on a free to cover those months i think is good business
Redruth.. Rudd is out for two months I believe. I would see the pecking order (Hughton may not) as Ruddy then Rudd then Camp then Bunn but two of those are out so it makes sense to bring in a half decent keeper to at least see out the rest of the season. If Ruddy regains full fitness he may well be sold in the summer so there might be some of the logic.
We got a clean sheet game before last against newcastle... we've had more clean sheets already than last season... not quite getting what your trying to say here...

Isent he on a free?? If Ruddys out till possibly next season then it makes perfect sense to bring in a keeper. Dont see what the problem is!! And from right under the Binners noses.
I'm so annoyed!! We all said we need more options as a striker! And what became of that!? Bunn. We now are still saying, we desperately need goals! Was obvious in the Summer, much more so now, been proven right. So what do we do? Sign Camp. So we need: Ruddy, Bunn, Camp, Rudd, and Steer? Rudd and Steer would be perfectly good backups right now to Ruddy. Use camps wage money on Hoopers transfer fee!
Camp is crap, lost his place at every teams hes been at and then throws a strop and his dad complains to the media. He is not the type you want at the club. Makes the off flashy save which looks great on youtube but wasnt known as "flappy" for nothing.
