Just saw this tweeted: http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/southampton-fc-club-captain-kelvin-1547418 In short, be positive & get behind Poch as negative atmospheres affect the team. Also, saw this link tweeted: http://www.bbc.co.uk/dna/606/A59880496 "I am really struggling to see what Morgan Schneiderlin brings to the team[...]I think we need someone whoâs prepared to get stuck in and a bit more robust, someone in the mould of Quashie would be ideal." Ahh, memories.
Kelvin's right. Any kind of protest will negatively affect the team and I hope people see sense and nothing major happens. You might think you can protest the board and still support the players, but the players won't grasp the subtleties of it from the pitch, they will just get negative vibes.
Please don't laugh, but after requesting where these papers are that are running these various stories, I went in search and found... oh, I am so ashamed... The Sun. Here's the OP's article, viewed from their angle: Davis pleads with fans not to protest And here's another mentioning that MP intends to take Saints into Europe, as per the NC plan: Pochettino: I will make Saints a major force Interesting that a couple of Saints fans below the article suggest that we'll kiss the PL goodbye this season. Whatever happened to support..?
I thought it was funny and might lighten the mood a bit. I wonder what that fan thinks of Morgan now. It was hashtagged #Porviletmemories so was obviously done ironically.
I like the fact that more than one player has commented on how good the session on Saturday was. Like the sound of a manager with a real aura about them too.....I'm feeling positive.
A bit off topic, but News Now saying that coaching staff confirmed and a link to official site. However, its not there when you click on the link. Shouldn't be long though I'd imagine
I for one will not be chanting "one nigel adkins" tonight, He did a great job but hes gone. Whats the point?
Agreed. I think NC has actually been quite clever with his timing. If we'd had a game on Saturday there would have been huge outpourings of grief. Now I think most of us just want to get behind the team tonight. .
