If true, I can just see Tash and his Geordie mates making the most of the role reversal!

Fingers crossed we get him or Sicko as both are very very good and then sadly Derry can be retired. Either way both of these need to hit the ground running as Derry sits so well and is one of the reasons IMO why we have shut up shop so well. A few on here i have just read on catch up think he is the weakest link! ... Fans who can't understand the game

Agree. Derry has been outstanding just sitting in front of the back 4 mopping up.

Indeed he has. I like Mbia, but he doesn't have the positional awareness to sit in front of the back four and Faurlin has been disappointingly poor, so that just leaves Derry.

Derry was and still is a very important disciplined piece of what we are. I still think however the best form of defence is attack. I think its panning out nicely under Harold as we can soak it now when we have to and then spring when we have to ( in hopefully a furious force of counter attacks). A work in progress for sure but at Chelsea we contained a very good team we need to thrash MK dons now and then back to business against City because those buggers can attack will be no good sitting like we did against the pool or that result will repeat itself

Harry said the deal was pretty much done last week so why would he say that when we're not even close?

Still think we'll land Livermore if Spurs can find a replacement for Sandro. If the M'Vila deal falls through I believe Harry will work hard for the Livermore deal again. Seems our Livermore interest cooled as soon as we found out M'Vila was available for a cut price deal. If he joins Rubin he'll join a very good side who have spent big the last year or so. Really like the look of that Rondon lad they have playing up front who they bought from a cash strapped Malaga in the summer.

QPR fans: Rubin cannot sign Yann M'Vila, they are under transfer embargo for this window for unpaid wages to ex-player Roman Adamov. #qpr

He must be ours as the Evening Standard says his Russian bound and you know when TF hears that means he should be ours by tomorrow morning :emoticon-0102-bigsm

QPR and Tottenham target Yann M'Vila looks likely to join Russian Premier League side Rubin Kazan.

It is true....but they could still sign him and he can't join till the embargo is lifted.

Don't they speak together at ESPN?

"ESPN reports that Russian side Rubin Kazan are likely to beat QPR in the race to sign Rennes midfielder Yann M'Vila, 22."
From the BBC live updates earlier today
