That's a suspiciously Oz style riposte. It would be impressive coming from a primary school child. From an adult it's fascinating but sad.

The worst part was Niall Quin.... He was all over that Arsenal performance! When we were playing so well in the first half he said Arsenal were playing really poorly but you must 'give credit to Chelsea for that'. Arsenal do the same to us and Arsenal are playing 'amazing' football. He kept on going on about the Arsenal fans as well! When they started making noise in the second half. Unbelievable...

The way he was blowing them off was shameful. If we performed as they did today I'd have been embarrassed.

Pretty pathetic post. As a neutral I have never noticed any bias. Chelsea are not the side they were a few years ago and neither are Arsenal. You're getting yourselves at it.

Just because you don't notice it, it doesn't mean it doesn't exist

Yeah it does. When you were battering everyone 7-0 every week Chelsea were top dogs. More recently I think they were a lot more favourable of Di Matteo than Benitez and I think that's spot on too. There's no shape at the moment, Ivanovic looks lost, the Lampard leaving thing is a joke the way it's been handled and why Torres played ahead of Ba today I can't fathom.

Wrong. Benitez has been favoured far more than Di Matteo ever was.

When RDM won it was down to luck, when Benitez wins its down to his tactical genius.
When RDM lost it was down to poor tactics, when Benitez loses its the fans fault.

All that mattered today was beating Arsenal and getting the 3 points. We still have big players to come back into the side like Terry, Luiz, Lampard, Mikel and Moses who has been excellent for us. Injuries permitting I think we should be alright for top 4. We only need 8 wins out of 15 or so. There's no way Arsenal will win 12/13 games out of the next 15, Everton will be lucky to win 7/8 given their fixtures as well.

I could say the same for you though. I still maintain we would be doing at least as good as we are now if Di Matteo was still manager. When RDM was sacked someone better had to come in.

Perhaps it has something to do with the fact Chelsea are a plastic club who have bought there success, that's why all the neutrals like Niall Quinn despise them:biggrin:

King. You really get on my tits. Are you 12? Your clearly inflammatory remarks smack of a worried glory hunter. Look at your not to distant past and tell me united have never 'bought' success. You're a complete mug.

I'm not sure about SKY as a corporation is biased, but the choice of commentators should be addressed i.e they should be excluded from it if they have known allegiances! Niall Quinn for example should never have been chosen! Bring back Gary Lineker!!

Man Utd spend what the club earns in revenue, unlike Chelsea who spend a Russian billionaires income. We have had a far less net spend on wages and transfer fees in the past 10 years.

This season you spent more than us, and have a miles higher wage bill yet were 11 points clear

King. You're missing the point. Look back to the 90's and tell me united didn't have the largest net spend or highest wage bill and that didnt contribute to you're success. Now the Glazers are bleeding the club dry its suddenly not fair to spend the money someone has brought into the club.

Not sure who the Irish sounding commentator was, but to him the match was all about Arsenal, and Chelsea were merely the support act.

First Half: Arsenal aren't tight enough, Arsenal need to close the space, Arsenal need to wake up, Sloppy play from Arsenal, This is very unlike the Arsenal we know, Arsenal this, Arsenal that
Second Half: Much better from Arsenal, Arsenal weren't doing this in the first half, Arsenal now much tighter, Great movement from Arsenal, Great goal from Arsenal, This is more like the Arsenal we know, Arsenal this, Arsenal that

Seriously, it would be interesting to do some kind of frequency count of words uttered by this moron. Bet you'd find that the word 'Arsenal' would outnumber the word 'Chelsea' by about 2-1!

I don't know why it worries you. A siege mentality, a persecution complex, us-against-the-world etc. - those are all fun things for any group of supporters to contend with. Chelsea are a successful club with lots of good players and lots to feel good about. What can any arse-kissing from the media really add to the pleasure of supporting your club?

Niall Quinn always comes out with the same crap every game too.

Who got MOTM by the way, De Gea? Listening to the Beeb's interview with Saf I thought it was poor of Pearce to describe Rooney as "fouled" without any doubt in it as commentators and interviewers are supposed to be impartial and stay on the safeside with their language.

This x100, anybody would have believed Arsenal were the only team on the pitch.

I would never want us to be publicly fawned over by the press as United are but if you can't watch a match against a big rival and not be subjected to such overt bias what's the point? If Sky had advertised themselves as Arsenal TV or MUTV for the 2nd game I'd have had no problem because at least you know what you are paying for.
