    Hello,

I'm looking into getting tickets for this on 26th January and came here in the hope of some advice. I've never been to Plymouth before so could anyone recommend so decent places not too far from the ground for a pint? Also whats the best stand to get tickets for in terms of view and atmosphere etc. Cheers in advance for any help <cheers>

Good Morning TJR and welcome. The Britannia is within spitting distance of the ground and welcome away fans. If you are down early the Barbican area has loads of good pubs and is about 30 mins walk away from Home Park. As for where to sit for atmosphere that would be the Devonport End but thats where the home fans congregate. Don't go in the Mayflower stand locally its known as the "Moanflower" its full of the oldies (I don't think I need to say anymore lol). The away fans are in the Barn Park End ... Lyndhurst is home fans too but every stand has a good view, so you can take your pick .... hope thats been of some help.

Bleddy cheek Gat. I sit there. I may be slightly advanced in years but I NEVER moan. The Devonport is full of spotty kids who think they can sing a lot. Oh and the occasional old lady.

If you visit Plymouth then you have to visit the Barbican/Hoe area. The view is stunning and it's what makes Plymouth.

One of the Accrington players went down and originally they thought he swallowed his tongue, but with so many medics around him I think it was more serious than first thought ... sorry don't know what the injury was but he got it going in for a challenge !
