From when i started going to watch QPR in the early 80's i don't think ive seen a better keeper than Cesar since Seaman. Yes we've had good keepers when out off the top flight but like what we saw in our return to the EPL Paddy Kenny was totally out of his depth in my opinion. PK lost us a fair few points in that 1st season and the same has being shown with Green this term. When i now look at Cesar i can see the games that he has saved us points or to put it bluntly saved our bacon from another loss. I know it is still early to make this sort of comment but those that have seen Seaman in action as an R's player who do you rate the better of the 2 keepers?
Just wish he'd catch the ball a bit more, rather than punching it 5 or 10 yards; he makes fantastic saves right enough and I'm a big fan however.
Way too early to be comparing them IMO. Seaman produced over several years. Cesar may not be here next week.
We have has some great Keepers - Parkes, Huckerby, Woods, Seaman, Cesar and I am probably forgetting some. I also think Cesar should catch the ball a bit more or push them em for corners instead of back out but he makes many amazing saves, Class! Seaman was probably the best for me.
Punching has always being the foreigner keepers way as opposed British keepers that prefer or try to catch the ball
Hence I stated 'I know it is still early to make this sort of comment' And hence i havnt said who I think looks the better All I will say is that with rumours that QPR may very well try and get rid off one of our keepers I hope that's at least a smoke screen to basically say Green ur time is up rather than the other way round

Parkes was an exceptional keeper who had a commanding presence in the box, unfortunate to have Shilton and Clemence ahead of him but I think he was in the same class. Seaman was a similar keeper with a real command of his defence, he has to be ahead of Cesar on long-term reliability both for club and country...
Like the "girlie" punch by De Gea in the last minute of play that just let Dempsey in for the Spurs equalizer.
And why are there so many stories over the last day or two that we're selling green and Cesar? Surely it's all complete b****cks?!
I guess it's because we are paying at least £120k a week for the pair and one pretty much sits on the bench every week
