Thought I would do this for a bit of fun. This was taken from the BBC saturday live football page the statement is incorrect I can think of one other can you remember who it or indeed if there are more than one? 1535: Infostrada Sports on Twitter: "Loic Remy became the first player to score a goal in his PL debut while playing for QPR since Danny Dichio on 29 October 1994." Loic Remy scores for QPR can you
Yep, Imaz is correct. Cisse v Villa away. About the same time in the game too if I remember correctly. 15 mins ..ish. Another game Sparky failed to close out.
Key to question was the last QPR player to score on his debut to the Premier League - Cissé had previously played for other teams in the Premier League.
Bloody hell Kilburn! Do you also collect train numbers? Lol, well done mate, well spotted. Btw, those train spotters are boring twats. I counted fifty six of them at Clapham Junction on my way to the Spurs game last week.
Hoo rah. Another poster. Cheers gimme, I thought I was doing the 'Graveyard shift' on my own here. Well done for spotting the deliberate joke regarding trainspotters.
Actually I noticed this earlier today on the Beeb "As it Happened" Football blog 1605: GET INVOLVED Josh Cawley on Twitter: "Don't know what I'm more surprised at: Sunderland coming from behind and scoring three again, or that Danny Dichio has been mentioned!" Some readers have pointed out that Djibril Cisse also scored on his QPR debut last season. However, the ex-Liverpool striker was not making his Premier League debut like Remy and Dichio.
Snowy Atlantic Canada 4 hours behind UK time. Just cleared the driveway out of a 2nd snowfall in 2 days. Did my chores - watching Chelsea vs. Arsenal game now and would absolutely love it to see the Gunners get it together and fight back for a draw like Saints did. Arsenal 11/1 odds for a draw and 33/1 for the win. I maintain a Bet365 account (for the video streams) and sometimes put a buck or two on the games I am watching. Yesterday with Newcastle winning 1-0, I put $1 on Reading for the win at 25/1 odds. Wish I had put $100, but then that would have been gambling!
King Kev scored on his debut too, didn't he? But I think that was before the Hammersmith Horse who, incidentally, I seen on ESPN the other night doing analysis.
