He was willing to take a man on, yes, but defensively he was awful.

i voted for brady as i thought it was another one of those games where there wasnt many stand out candidates, but he kept having a go, and came closest to scoring second half
can i ask why you put stockdale top? i did go for a couple of pisses so may have missed any saves he made but am struggling to remember seeing any..

Brady for me was the only one who looked dangerous. Got the feeling Koren was going to lose the ball every time he had it. Not a dig at Koren before I get jumped, just not a good day at the office. Probably the fact it was friggin freezing.

    McShane
    Quinn
    Koren/Brady

Had to tie it for third, I thought Brady started well but faded a bit, but he did come closest to scoring in the second half. Donkey of the game had to be Meyler, unless he was instructed to fall over a lot and misplace every pass.

Is it just me or is Chester not currently the player he's capable of being? Against Sheff Wed he's was diabolical and had the passing range of an 8 year old. Sounds as though he wasn't the best yesterday either. Hopefully can get back to his best. Proschwitz is coming on it sounds(and looks) too!

1 McShane - majestic. For a period at the end of the first half he was in a league of his own - must have been the song.
    2 Brady
    3 Quinn

Actually, can I put the crowd at No.2?

1 Koren 2 Rosenior 3 Mcshane I dont understand the Chester bashing thats going on at the moment, he may not have been his usual excellent self in a couple of games but he has been on a parr with the rest . I wonder do you go to the games or just cast judgement having heard the shocking match commentary ? Is someone looking for a new scapegoat ? Maybe a little less criticism and more support would help our fine team achieve what they are all no doubt capable of . UTT !!!!

Was this the second half trap and cross, where he crossed straight into the keepers hands?

Yes, it was a brilliant take but I thought the cross was pretty poor to be honest.

The trap was fantastic, the cross wasn't very good at all.

I just assumed that your top striker scored. Shoot me for it.

No need to resort to personal issues of someone who *used to* post on these boards. If you can't take it then go cry to yourself in a corner <ok>

It would have been a great cross if we had a tall striker with a good head - :)

Chester had a much better gameon Sat than he did against Weds and Orient, but still not in his top form.

Our defence was a lot better with McShane in it.
