Just seems that nearly every game we play, we take the lead only to screw it up!?

I don't think we've come from behind once to win a game either

I'm getting really depressed now! Before it was mild depression, but today has taken it to a new level.

We haven't done that ONCE under Pardew, last time we did it was against West Ham in October 2010, Nolan and Carroll scored...

    Me too.

My mate rang me at 7pm and invited me out for beers.
I told him no as I just don't wanna drink as it will make things worse.
I never ever refuse a drink mind.

I'm off the drink all January. Was very nearly tempted today, but thought if I have one in this frame of mind then I'm likely to have ten, so I refrained.

To answer Albert's Chip Shop's question:

Last season you won from behind against Blackburn in the FA Cup and Scunthorpe in the League Cup. Also the comeback from 0-4 down to Arsenal is like a win.

To answer the OP - you've dropped 13 points from winning positions.

Being fair to Pardew, Sunderland away not his fault. That was unfortunate. Liverpool away not his fault either. Man Utd we're never going to get anything out of with the squad available, I rate that 4-3 as one of our best performances this season.

So it's more like 6 points... Thanks for the stats SBR (good initials) <ok>

I think I actually experienced all seven stages of grief yesterday, shouldn't it take weeks/months/years?
Alas Pardew is stll at stage one, Denial! :emoticon-0106-cryin

We played well against Man Utd, I didn't mind the loss, the effort was clearly there, makes a loss easier to bear, and we certainly rattled Fergusons cage 'Big Time'! <ok>

Or Blackburn in the cup last season maybe? <whistle>

Our inability to kill games is a massive concern because of our defending. We played well first half yesterday but a couple of times we got caught in wide areas with full backs pushing on too much. You will have games where you fail to finish chances, but its time and again for us. The fans then get tetchy and don't help.

Santon is frighteningly bad at present. I was worried at half time despite the performance because any manager worth their salt can mastermind a goal or two against our defence. Sit in, let Santon commit hari kari and then drop it into the space. Pardew has to accept part of the responsibility as Santon is a young lad and needs guidance. He should just be getting him to sit and Colo should be telling him on the pitch. Willo should have cleared the first one two, Colo should have blocked the 2nd, and McCleary had Debuchy roasted two or three times.

I've all season we'll get out of this but the defending is not improving and Cisse's luck in front of goal isn't changing.

Santons form the last few games has been worrying, he's not the only one I know, perhaps try him as a winger......:D

Pardew is not learning. He keeps making the same errors time after time after time.
The staggering stupidity yesterday of his substitutions is just the worst yet. His lowest example of technical know-nothing

Anita aside I didn't see the problem. Marveaux was excellent first but anonymous 2nd. Unfortunately his replacement was just as anonymous. Cabaye was injured. The staggering stupidity came from our support for me.
