Thanks for posting that. I watched it in a mixture of pride, happiness and sadness, very emotional. I could see myself running onto the pitch on League 1 promotion day, hadn't seen that clip before.

 

Its a shame we couldn't have kept Nigel on in a very expensive coaching role! He would have been in charge of morale lol & positive thinking!

 

You meant well and were joking, but that would have been an insult.

I have a folder of Saints History videos on this particular computer. It's chock full of bits and bobs from old matches to interviews with former players, managers, etc. That one is going to join them, for keeps.

No. He said it in the build-up to a game earlier in the season when asked how he unwinds and relaxes/copes with life as a manager.

He got us to the PL and gave us our two most enjoyable seasons...he never failed us and left whilst we are doing well... a permanent legend.

 

Legend. We'll miss you Nigel, you were a fantastic manager for us.

 

Emotional. Especially anything to do with the game vs Coventry.
