Me too. Lukaku would of been ideal. I'm surprised we don't get more of Chelsea's youngsters on loan. Due to our proximity it would be less upheaval for them.
Oh well, 2-2 is good considering what could've been. We're four points behind 17th now, it would have been five. ( behind Newcastle ) had Villa gone on to have won that.
Now we just need Saints to lose on Monday. Overall, we're just keeping in touch. Roll on some new signings...
He has matth mate. He has picked up well since his injury. Much better than Park and that Macheda fella from last season. He didn't even touch the ball when he played for us.
i watched you play Tottenham last saturday, i thought he was class, he's come on leaps and bounds, playing under your manager has imrpoved him.
Were keeping in touch while getting our difficult games out of the way. After Man City, we have 2 and a half months of winnable games except for Man U.
Well they didn't crumble. We can keep on believing it's just a shame that everyone seems to be winning so the gap is starting to stretch
Cheers for that Twins. I had to watch it in the back room on an old cathode ray tv. ( The kids have hi-jacked the HD Plasma. ) So it was a bit blurry from a distance. Anyway, it would of been six points then
Glass half empty mate. At 2-0 they were cutting the goal difference and adding 3 points. Now they just get a point. Your obituary is way premature.
As you said on the other thread, I too have a goodish feeling about the ManC game, but not over confident either. To be honest I was dreading today's game, I remember how they trampled all over our midfield earlier at LR and I wwasn't at all sure how we would cope with that type of of strong arm tactic. I am delighted genuinely that we came away with a point and in no way do I feel that the great escape has been derailed. On we go!
