I have moved on from yesterday, but its worth questioning what do we support. What is the club? The players, the manager, the chairman, the workers. It seems to me the NC brings into question what a supporter is supporting. I want to support all of the above. Not sure thats possible right now. If you dont support the one person making all the decisions it makes it a situation where you just put up with everything he does and say move on each time. I am not saying protest or boycott any games but is made me question why I support such a cut throat sport that has no real soul anymore. That in itself is rather sad IMO. Maybe its melodramatic but maybe I fell a little bit out of love with football yesterday.
Still I will be there Monday hoping I am re-energized soon.

This sums up how i'm feeling at the moment. I don't know why people keep tellin me to move on. Why should we?. By moving on i am directly supporting a decision that i disagree with, I can't do that at the moment.

This is exactly how I'm feeling! "I fell a little bit out of love with football yesterday" except it's not football I fell out of love with, it's saints

How do you know that? Because a spanish journalist who makes money out of selling rumours to the english media says so.

Laughable how easily you are brainwashed.

It's objective to say that worldwide, Mauricio Pochettino is much better known than Nigel Adkins.

    I found this interesting http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/21084201:

I hope he does well for you and you stay up. Was surprised to see Atkins sacked, but you are where you are, and it looks as though you've not replaced him with a **** wit.

Well clearly he must be a better manager by that stunning sweeping statement of no logic whatsoever

Your argument (seemingly more focused on being angry than logical, how old are you?) was about how well known he is, so why would I try to answer that with a list of credentials?

Hmm, not too sure that's what he was saying with that comment.

Exactly, These are ths same people who call the English media idiots for giving negative press over Adkins being sacked. However when some Half-known Spanish journalist says Pochettino is a good manager then he is the only one who is talking sense. Truly laughable.

You're embarrassing yourself mate. No one is insinuating that being well-known makes him a better manager, but it is undeniable that he is pretty well-known. He was in the Argentina squad plenty of times, and it wasn't that long ago.

I don't think there is a single person on here who wasn't dismayed by Adkins' sacking, but people who aren't reactionary idiots are capable of realising that there is probably a lot of information that we the public aren't privy to, and are also capable of reserving judgement until we've seen some results of this latest business decision.

Gills fan in peace. Ridiculous decision by your chairman if you ask me. Chairmen these days are far too quick to pull the trigger and seeming as he managed to pull it around in the last twelve games, I can't get my head around the decision. Only positive thing for me personally is that he's a fellow argintinean so might be able to see Paulo back in the sticks for you guys.

Anyways good luck for the rest of the season, hope you stay up even with this barmy decision <cheers>

That would be a significant negative for the rest of us, though; Gazzaniga has potential but he's not ready for this level, while Boruc has been excellent of late. Cannot see Pochettino going with a countryman for that reason alone, and doing so would probably be reason enough to sharpen the pitchforks.

Nope, there are other gills fans than Hoadie. He does have a habit of following me onto other boards so won't be long before he does.
