Whatever he's being paid, he's worth it. Another match-saving performance, fast becoming Player-of the-Year...
Once again outstanding overall. Do wish he would have held the ball for a little and let things calm down a bit at times. His saves have been terrific - without doubt.
I know, I just shake my head at some people. Hes been in a different class all season. Not a single mistake so far while Ive seen Green at fault for several goals.
Fast on his way to becoming mentioned in the same breath as Phil Parkes and David Seaman.....2 of our finest....
Agree with all this great keeper, only saw their goal once but didn't he drop a ball he should have caught for Cole's tap in?
Agree he made some great saves again today. BUT his kicking was poor overall. Gave it away too often straight to their players or out of play. Still gave him our MOM though in my report as he was brilliant at keeping us with a point.
I've said it before and I'll say it again. I believe the Rs are fortunate to have both Julio Cesar and Green in our squad. Whilst I wholeheartedly agree the JC in our No.1, Green showed in the cup replay against the Baggies that he is also capable of making first-class saves and winning MotM awards. I know many don't rate him any higher than Kenny, but I think he's a 'keeper other teams would be delighted to have in reserve.
Maybe, but I thought he did really well just to block the shot, not sure he could have held it - we just needed a johnny on the spot to help him out and clear the ball away from danger.
The difference is I feel that Green has always got the ability to lose a game by himself, hes let in at least half a dozen awful goals if you include preseason. The closest Cesar has come to making a mistake is when someone deflected a shot a yard in front of him and people said he should have saved it!
The Mirror says we are listening to offers on both our goalies! http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/footb...ll-listen-to-offers-for-robert-green-1545231?
