Deffo need that bit extra quality throughout the Team, can see us slipping away from the top at this rate, a point away from home is all well and good, but not away to Peterborough when your 3rd in the league going for Promotion Disappointing day for the Tigers, Effin Manager of the Month, Steve should of said ill have it at the end of the Season, Keep it
It would not have been an easy game today. Sounds like the pitch was awful so good result really. Don't think we will get automatic but definetly playoffs. Even if we don't go up this year I think we will romp the league next year. Just need that quality striker to bang the goals in but still think prossy will come good. I still have confidence in the team and all will come good. This is the start of another good run. A point is a point!!
Two bad games, after a long run of good ones - calm down. No more league games in January, we can get the team sorted and settled again, and get our foot back on the accelerator.
get a grip you lot. we're still in the play off's which is what we were all hoping for this season. we knew they were better teams in the division who would be gunning for the auto's, we arnt one of them, deal with it !
It's disappointing and our attack does need improving quickly but we shouldn't write off our chances just yet. 3 weeks ago we were all pretty confident of going up. We have 2 weeks of this window to add to our squad, it's more than likely that we will add to the squad and hopefully we can maintain our challenge. We were going to hit a sticky patch at some point, no point getting despondent when there's plenty of games left to play.
We slip up, everyone slips up. Irrelevant result. It's 1 more point to the cause. **** happens & will do for a long time. Get over it & stop being so bloody negative. FFS this is why it always pisses me off when I go to the games. No matter what the final outcome is!
Good god do we have some pessimistic people on here! I think we can still make the top 2 if we make the right signings!
Totally agree no one would have thought we would be third at this point in time still think the majority on this site are from the premier league glory days. When you have been following the tigers over the years you all should be happy with our team at present the owners, manager and players know what they are doing and I for one am proud to be a hull city fan
Some people are never happy unless they're complaining! Concerns over our attack are perfectly justified, our problems are there for all to see. But, this is something we can attempt to rectify before our next league game and we have the right manager in place who can get us back on track and make us sharper up front. However, saying we won't make the top 2 or miss out on promotion is daft when there's 3 months of the season left to play and we're in great position to get promotion. We'd hit the ****ing roof if the players carried the same attitude, so why should we?
Theres still a lot of improvement in the team to come yet so to write us off after an away point is premature to say the least
We never seem to push on in good positions, in the league and in games. But I think bruce will fix it ...hopefully
God we get some ****ing morons on here. We drew because of a penalty. If it wasn't for that decision, we would have won the game because they weren't looking like scoring. We are a massive 0 points from the automatic spots, there are still 18 games left to play, it's daft to say we can't get promotion at this stage. As for the title of this thread. Promotion form is winning your home games and drawing your away games. Anything else away is a bonus.
Cardiff probably will go up but I bet even they have a wobble, as will Leicester. We were always going to too and if 1 defeat in 10 counts as a dip in form I'll take it. We've just lost two of our most influential players in Elmo and Aluko so it was never going to be easy today. But with a couple of decent signings we can still grab a top two place when Cardiff or Leicester slip up.
