Well, a point but the performance today was poor. As said above, passing was often woeful. We're fast on the break and resilient in defence but we just invite punishment if we keep giving the ball away.
Good point on the run of play, shame that Reading won but dumps Newcastle in the mire. Wigan lose again so not a disaster overall...
In a cruel way we deserved that. The players fought a rear guard foremost of the game. Credit to the defensive line for battling; something I wouldn't have expected to see a few months ago.

That final 10 mins for Reading Vs WBA is what has led to this imo... Brilliant for their confidence. I doubt they'd have taken anything from the toon without that result. Apparently they only had 2 shots on target today
Just didn't look like scoring in 2nd half.....first 20 mins we were very good on the break....but after that hanging on for dear life. But a point gained but should have been more with a bit of attacking...whu left huge gaps at the back but never exploited them...
What an absolute battering. Two points from Spurs and West Ham is not enough considering we're bottom and cut adrift. If we were mid-table they'd be half decent results but in our position its close to useless. Its an awful situation to be in. Thank you Mr Hughes.
For me we scored too early.....our players then became nervous and the Hammers came out fired up......the result was what you saw...players that cant pass and a relentless West Ham pumping the ball into our box. If it wasnt for Cesar we would have been relegated a long time ago.
