I'm very worried this'll happen. Loss against Everton (which most expected under Nige... expect everyone to forget that now) and the mood will sour even further.
You have to remember that Mondays team is Nigels team and should be supported as that, and I hope they play as if it is for him, that is the way to go. Then, let us see what MP is really made of, you never know, there could be some exciting times ahead or am I still over doing the happy clapper bit?
Agreed. While it's not his fault Adkins was sacked and we must get behind the team we should not be celebrating the managerial change and should be vocal in our support for Adkins.
Then we have Man U which is another probable loss, would only take a bad result at wigan for it to turn very ugly
Let's face it, This match will be all about the fans giving Nigel the send off he deserves, I hope he can bare to watch because i for one will be belting out One Nigel Adkins for the duration. I honestly couldn't care less about the result anymore.
Oh well, just my opinions that all, the biggest dissapointment for me was not only the way Nigel was treated but also how we as fans were never even given an opportunity to say thank you and good bye. Thats what Monday will be for me
I agree, it's almost as if our fans just dont want to hear it from the media. It shows just how bad of a call it is that all pundits and media say it is a disgrace.
The media see it all from one side. It was a terrible thing to do to a nice man who was doing a good job. They will always hold that view as it doesn't affect them. On the other hand, we have a new manager and we want him to do well because it affects our clubs prospects. We have to hope that Cortese has made the right decision...the media want it to go belly up because that makes a better story.
Come on now I bet over half the pundits and all the media don't even give a **** about us, they just see it as a way of boosting their massive egos more. "Oh look it's a big story that's jump on it so my name gets talked about more."
From some reports I've read Pochettino played a 4-2-3-1 system whilst at Espanyol, his teams press the opposition hard and when attacking they attack with pace and precision. It will be interesting to see what he does with our team for the rest of the season!
