serious question. Is Saturdays match in any doubt? Hearing you have no under soil heating at London Road.
Its minus 8 in the Hull area at the moment with a couple of inches of snow on the ground, what's it like at your end?
Weather forecast is for some heavy snow on Friday night into Saturday but unsure if it will reach Peterbourgh.
Need to know with a view to buying match tickets and train tickets in advance.
Last question, if the game is on can you pay on the day?

Good question ... no we don't have undersoil heating ... obviously they cover the pitch & usually have plenty of fans willing to go & help shift snow on the match morning

We are expecting more snow Friday

When I went walking with the dogs this morning ..... where we went the ground was really frozen / rock solid & we aren't expecting the temperature to rise about -1 between now & then

.... so I feel that the match is definitely in doubt

There is nothing on the web-site to suggest that it's ticket only & they usually make it very clear if it is

... so you should be able to pay on the day

Good luck with making your decision

I've been told it's pay on the day if you need to - I don't expect it to be played though

    Hard to believe but

The London Road pitch has passed the 12.15pm inspection by local referee.

Peterborough United held a pitch inspection at 12.15pm on Friday with a local referee inspecting the surface and the good news is that the inspection has been passed.

The club will take a further look at the playing surface and surrounding areas for supporters safety early on Saturday morning with snow forecast over the next 24 hours.
