Me thinks we're gonna have a battle on our hands to keep him.

Well if a top 4 club came in for him you could'd blame him if he went.

It's when they do a Bent that hacks me off.

He's turning into an exceptional keeper.

It's imperative the club makes moves to improve his contract and sign him up for another 5 years

At least then he will command top dollar when he moves.

If De Gea went for £15m+ then what is the mig worth? De Gea is nowhere near as good IMO

He speaks French so a bid from Wenger can't be far away!

How long has he got left?

Agree with you about De Gea. That's what worries me.

I'm concerned - he just requested a transfer on Fifa.

I think its inevitable he will go to a top 4 or big Champions League club (he is certainly good enough) and the only real question is do we have a good enough contract in place for him to ensure we get big bucks out of the sale.

I don't want him to go but £20m would fairly sweeten the pain. Maybe we should be after Butland as well now and prepare for the deluge of offers this summer.

I agree about butland mate. He's going to be a good un.

I know I pulled you before about a £2-£3m bid but I didn't appreciate Birmingham are deep in the **** financially (could go into administration this window if they don't sell players apparently)

That's why I went in low mate and what about a punt on Curtis Davies? Was highly rated a couple of years ago and at 27 and 6ft 2 (and quite pacy) he would be canny defensive cover.

Might get the pair for £4m/£5m?

Well Westwood is still a bloody good keeper & done nowt wrong when Mig was out.
Then of course he got flu, Mig back in & the rest is history.
Admittedly like, he'd need a few games to regain his form.

I have no problem with Westwood but if Mig went we would still need another keeper for competition and the current England under 21 keeper sounds a good bet to me. 6ft 5 is a nice size for a keeper too.

Birmingham are bankrupt Billy. On the verge of going bust. They just need some money through the tills asap to keep afloat.

Plenty of clubs shafted us when we were struggling financially a few years back after relegation so **** em I say.
