I was just looking at my twitter feed, it only seems like yesterday when we ripped them apart. Now that was a great game.

What we could do with a team full of goals and two forwards banging them in for fun.

Allsopp & big Ben were class that season, until Paul Rehubka injured him.

Elliott & Price were also scroing goals reguarly.

We got better attendances then we are now.

I really doubt anybody, back then, could've predicted Ash, Daws & France and Bo would've still been at the club in the top flight. Mind you Leon Britton's also done it, and i thought he was poor at the KC when we played Swansea in the same year.

Didn't the Oxford manager spit his dummy out before the match? I seem to remember he got some stick in that game.

Was the Swansea game the 1-0 win for us with an Elliott header? Tuesday night game? We're only a returning Fryatt and a n other striker away from being a goal scoring side. Plus the return of Elmo! A proper forward would score a stack in our side - we just need to sign him!

Yeah when the coppers refused entry to a lot of people trying to pay on the gate. Which left the whole of the north stand empty excpet for a taxi full of Swansea fans.

I remember that game too. I was sat in the West Upper. Allsopp and Burgess and played like Yorke and Cole that day. If memory serves me right Oxford where top of the league, but after that they just fell apart.

2004 Seems like just yesterday. A time when Wayne Rooney played well for England.

and me. I was told it was full so went round to the North stand and got in there. There was plenty of room so never any chance of being found out by the Swansea fans.

Going back even further I remember when we had Malcolm Shotton he was from Oxford, neared the end of his footballing career but I still thought he did well at the club.

Remember him saying we had a forward line that cost a lot of cash and that we were effectively buying our way out of the division - jealousy and sour grapes sprung to mind...

I read somewhere that Xavi of Barcelona had the 2nd best passing accuracy in Europe over the whole of last season. Britton was first.
