Hmmm, needs a bit of work. We'll need to give him a nickname.

According to our information, the final details of the transfer were resolved Friday between the different parties.

Fingers crossed we keep Colo and this lad is Willo's replacement. But not holding out much hope on either of those two points.

I would love to get this lad in the door. Him, Douglas and Sahko would complete the defence for me even if Colo left.

Very possible as there are no reports in England about this deal.

Be the right sort of signing. I still maintain though, we need another if its to cover the loss of Colo.

For those who don't like opening links :

NEWCASTLE UNITED are understood to be in negotiations for Montpellier skipper Mapou Yanga-Mbiwa.

Reports from France say that the Magpies are putting together a package to lure the classy 23-year-old to Tyneside.

The French international has been a long-term target of the Magpies and a fee of £6.7million was mooted late last night.

United were always looking for a new centre-back in the January window and should Fabricio Coloccini make a return to Argentina for personal reasons, he would fit the bill in terms of a senior centre-back to come in and shore up the Magpies’ defence.

United will look to resolve the Coloccini situation on Monday when his representatives meet Newcastle officials on Tyneside.

Yann M'vila has been mentioned on here on numerous occasions but now in this mornings Guardian Loic Remy is trying to persuade him to join QPR,ffs as if Rednapp wasn't enough to contend with!
