Health and safety gone mad. I did actually once miss a game due to traffic. It was Colchester away and I got stuck behind a pile up on the M25 and I was listening to the half time review, while still being parked on a motorway over forty five minutes away, so I have turned round and gone home. So I know it can happen, don't be too hard on yourself. It was a good move, we lost 5-1.
Good game to watch and I thought Leicester deserved the win. Wood and Nugent looked sharp. Morgan looked solid as well. I think they'll definitely finish top 2. I was a bit disappointed James didn't play though as I was looking forward to seeing the lad after so much praise has been heaped on him. Is he injured or just rested?
I've got to pick up two lads in Pocklington at just gone twelve, so as long as it's not icy I'll be fine, but if there's still snow everywhere, I might be pushing it. I thought the inspection was about 10.30? Even if it's not, I won't be that far down the road if it gets binned.
How fortunate the Arctic conditions that prevented the good and loyal from getting there coincided with it being on tv so they didn't miss it. For the future, Leicester fans could maybe use the same route as the boro fans that got through.
Not sure, I'm sure I heard 1pm as they have to remove all the snow? Maybe they will do one in the morning and one later on?
Defense won us that game tbh, glad that that is solid. The woodwork and Vardy were trying to get Mboro a point, think they played very well in Defense and Midfield, packed out the midfield and it showed, luckily for us, they forgot to bring their strikers on till too late EDIT: p.s. have a good game at Pboro tomorrow, although their ground is rather shoddy, so hope the game takes place, or goes the full 90 mins if it starts
For hull fans to try to make an argument about attendances is really irony of the highest order ...well done... scott of the antarctic would of thrown the towel in down here....,
Is it true passholders will be sent a letter saying "We don't need you" from LCAFC? Seems they don't give a **** whether fans can get to the game or not? Mind you, it seems to be mutual....
PLEASE, lets not evn go there about home support....Hull's is shocking, the KC Library! http://www.statbunker.com/football/btb/index.php?PL=competition&CompID=420&statType=home_Att Even Ipswich town beat you! lol shocking.
I'm not trying to make an argument, merely saying how fortunate it was people that couldn't get through didn't have to miss the game. As for the conditions, I'll look forward to seeing the unpassable tundra the region's become as we pass through tomorrow.
From my prospective it was a fairly even game, with you lot having the better chances. I thought your rightback was poor though. Again I was impressed with that young french lad and your two forwards linked well. Thought McDonald for them looked handy with good control but he had little support. Same with Jutkiewicz. Could have been 3-0 to you. Should have been 1-1.
Ask the boro players how fortunate the conditions were lol having to walk the last part of the journey to the stadium. bless em. I don't envy their LONG journey back tonight to the North East. ughhhhh
Ipswich, who won the UEFA Cup and have regularly been in the top flight, have managed to draw more fans than Hull City, who've never won anything? How the **** did that happen? Our averages may be lower, but for a league game like tonight's, we'd never have dropped to 8k.
