was wondering wats the story with this wonder boy sunderland signed. since he signed think ive only heard his name once playing for stuart pearce at u21. does anyone know whats goin on with him. you dont cost that much and then just dont play
He's played 8 games this season, all but one of them in the last two months, so he's making the team now.
i dread to think what sunderlands wage bill must be, if they go down you would think they would be pretty much buggered
£8m he cost them. superblackcatforever argued the toss out of this with me 18 months ago that he was definitely worth it despite me telling him he hadn't even made it in the Championship when they signed him. I wonder what he's got to say now.
He's a good player, but not worth that sort of money yet. The same for Wilfred Zaha. Could well prove to a huge waste of money for someone, a la Sean Wright Philips. In fact I rate Wickham higher than Zaha
Was it too much to ask for you to spell ever with an 'r'? Or to spell his name right? Or not to capitalize definitive articles unless they are the starting word in the title? But in answer to your question, I believe he was bought a bit too soon, he really could have benefited from more lower league football first. Which is the way I'm afraid Zaha will go if they let him leave before Summer. (Was only joking about the spelling bit btw; I'm a copywriter, so the grammar Iron Cross is set upon my uniform.)
Completely agree. I remember seeing Zaha on the KC throw paddy after Paddy because Brady and Chester had him covered the whole game no matter the flank he was on. Did EXACTLY the same against Stoke in the cup the other night, when watching the replays I'm sure he got booked for diving and then the ensuing spitting his dummy out.
