Aye we've had some bad news this week. Maybe this is the footballing equivalent 'ying and yang' working and rebalancing back to the mean.
It wouldn't be a bad thing for us if it's postponed. We'll probably drop a place or two but we'll have a winnable game in hand for a time when our team should be stronger than now. After this week I think SB and the Allams need to take stock of the situation and get some positive things happening.
That's exactly why I'm going! I can't see the game going ahead either, for the reasons already mentioned. Even if, by some miracle, the pitch ends up playable it'll probably be postponed because of issues with the 'surrounding areas'...
Just been on Blunderside that their colleagues down at Ptereborough are very pessimistic about the game being on. Good, IMHO, better not to play games right now, what with players missing and new signings not in yet.
Snow has started here in Leicesteristan, coming down quite thick and settling nicely. ****ing weather
Apparently we can go to hell according to the telegraph. http://www.peterboroughtoday.co.uk/sport/football/peterborough-united/hull-can-go-to-hell-1-4691124
I will be very surprised if the game goes ahead. In fact its forcast that most of the games outside of the PL will be Postponed this weekend. We shall see about that. Whatever happens in fridays sky live game Leicester v. Middlesboro (a draw is best for us) It would be much better to play the game on a warmer April night. That end terrace is a throw back to the good old days and it would be packed. Lets have this wee break and get our transfer business sorted.
peterborough can be the first team to do the double over us, so i reckon being called off could do us a big favour in a way?
However, that other paragon of the local media, says this: http://www.thisishullandeastriding.co.uk/story-17891595-detail/story.html
If the dog forecast is right there'll be no chance tomorrow. I'm in Leicestershire, I have 2 Alaskan Malamutes and they come to life when the weather feels like home. This morning the back garden is rock hard and they're refusing to come back in
