That bit tells you a lot - he can't go to any other club, so he either comes back to us or stays at Sunderland.

That was their opening game, yes, but he left before the next match. Still don't think he's apart of their future plans, only a quick solution.

are sunderland just posturing for an earlier move from city to get some cash in the bank for some more incoming cucumber pickers. Ellis Short must be pissed off paying out money for no return in a ****ty little city that he knew nothing about until a few years ago. He didnt even know where it was until recently apparently

I doubt they would recall him if a permanent move was the issue. Think they're just eager to bench him again  (+ they're short on numbers)

If a deal isn't worked out to bring him back this month (I have heard Burnsy mention that) I think a summer move will all depend on if the tigers can achieve promotion. If they do, I wouldn't be surprised if he was your first signing.

Good point. Surely that means one of 3 things. 1) MON wants him on the bench/use him after impressing here. 2) They're trying to force a deal through. 3) I'm not sure on the rules but could he not play for a 3rd club overseas?

He'll be back with you as soon as our injury problems ease a bit, probably in a couple of weeks. There's nothing underhand or malicious going on, we're just short of players.

Come the end of the season you are welcome to him on a permanent (for a reasonable fee of course)

MON doesn't have to 'force a deal' through, he doesn't have to sell to buy, cash isn't a problem.

Stop being so abusive to MON and the club - HE IS OUR PLAYER !!!
