New shirt sponsors....

Just been posted on the official site that the new sponsor is betting rag Racing +. It's another 3 year deal similar to CYC but doesn't say how much it's worth. With the rumours around saying we were holding out for a £1m deal a gambling company seems to tie in.

I have noticed how many clubs do actually have bookies/online betting businesses as their sponsors nowadays.

I liked CYC. Millwall fan as owner, local business. shame really.

 

Agreed CBL and the hamsters being one at least with their SBOBET that springs to mind.

Would have been nice to have retained CYC which I was hoping for but its simple economics I guess as we apparently wanted 10 times the original deal 3 years ago but at least they will still be attending as real fans, as well as supporting local charities as they have been doing so for some time now.

 

Racing Post, should be a few bob in that for us, are buhkar making the kit this year? i heard we might have an addidas kit?

 

If we get Adidas I'll eat my feet.
