Took part on another forum in a £2 to £1000 challenge. £2 starting stake on an evens or greater bet. Bets twice a week (Fri to Mon and Tue to Thurs) and whatever you win you have to put back on.

Winner is the last one standing who either bottles it with a bet too big for them to risk losing or someone winning £1k

Someone manages the thread and posts who is through with the winnings each bet window
Everyone in the thread has to post their bets with the odds and the bookie. Print screens need to be posted when people surpass £50 stake

Sounds easier than it is and with a maximum of 9 bets to win to reach the magic £1k it entices a few punter in. However, finding a decent evens or better (5/4 etc) bet is not as easy as it sounds
